i'd say your best bet is queens, or even try to find something in jersey (its really not that far) - if you stay in manhattan or go to LI you will be paying a crap load more than necessary - and like it was stated above - the part of brooklyn that is closest to jfk is not the prime location of living - though other parts of bklyn are nice - theyre just a little more pricey - what range are you looking to spend for rent - cause that will help find you a place as well "life does throw curveballs sometimes but it doesn't mean we shouldn't still swing for the homerun" ~ me
