  11. If he feels like it...I believe that you should be able to put anything you want into the column. It may mean something different to someone else, but last time I checked it said "Years In Sport" not "How many years have you been jumping out of airplanes(not including years you took off from actively jumping)" It's like telling a professional football player that has played only one year of his professional career but sat on the bench the other five years that he wasn't a member of the team for those years he played bench warmer...He's practiced, sweat, run the drills, but just wasn't quite as good as his counterparts. He was still a part of the team though... These are just my thoughts, sorry if you disagree Blue SkiesBlack DeathFacebook www.PLabsInc.com www.SkydiveDeLand.com www.FlyteSkool.ws

  20. and if you continued to read the rest of my statement but you were just to much in a hurry to correct the newb. you forgot to read that part huh. next time you want to correct someone make sure you know what in the hell they said first. Edited for spelling and to add: Sorry for the blast but the 23 years in my profile may not be the years that I've been jumping but it is the amount of years that I have lived with this sport. 21. I'm guessing that some of those jumps could be static line in military service? Expecially as time in sport is 23 years. Nope no jumps in military service, I've been a DZ Brat since I was 3. I'm now 26 (so three from twenty-six is.... well you get the point.) I actually did my first Tandem Jump last year with Art at the Hog Flop in Palatka. Started AFF on Christmas Eve and have done 100+ jumps since. (I'm definately hooked!!!) Anyway I answered CSpence in a PM to let him know what's going on. But to wrap it all up I've been really lazy about taking the tests. But i'm studying this week and next and am going to knock them out in 2 weeks. 22. They don't exist (in the USPA as far as other countries PA's i dunno), I don't have a license as of yet, hence my license in the column to the left. Blue SkiesBlack DeathFacebook www.PLabsInc.com www.SkydiveDeLand.com www.FlyteSkool.ws
  23. well normally once your off student status the hand signals shoud go out the door (if you need them you should be back on student status) if they give you the signal there is a reason for it. once your off student status you'll find that besides the occasional froot loop or rodio you should have to worry about your friends "joking" with you. Your premature deployment as a joke could lead to someone else going through your deploying canopy leading to injury or possibly even death (god I sound like a waiver) so just relax and enjoy you'll have much more fun and your instructors are the best resource for info concerning jumping (lord only knows what someone with no jumps what-so-ever could tell you on these forums) Blue SkiesBlack DeathFacebook www.PLabsInc.com www.SkydiveDeLand.com www.FlyteSkool.ws
  24. everone's answer on this one is going to be different. It all depends on how quickly you pick up on things. By jump 30 I was trying to do some sit flying, by jump 90 I was sitting pretty good and doing really well with RW. But I also spent the better portion of my days when I was still in school on a drop zone (I lived on one) and picked up on alot of the conversation between other jumpers on how to fly your body and not let it fly you. Once you have that down and can fly without thinking about how to do it then you're ready to try something else. None some or all of this could be just my opinion. If you don't like my opinion, feel free to bite me!!!
  25. Same Dog edited to add: OOPS didn't see the shepard part in the first post, but Mike's dog did a Halo Jump last year @ WFFC if I remember correctly....
