  1. Check out Molly on page 41 of this months parachutist. (she is the blond on the left in the top photo). See what she is doing with her hand and use your imagination...the thumb moves too... "I'll jump anything!"
  2. you get 3 times the fun with the "shocker" though!!! "I'll jump anything!"
  3. I actually prefer to give my fellow skydivers "the shocker" on the way up... "I'll jump anything!"
  4. with a platform like that, I would follow you into battle! "I'll jump anything!"
  5. good move!!! you will be even more excited to jump when you leave. "I'll jump anything!"
  6. Dude-you should come up to New England...They will deliver beer to your door in NH and Mass is looking at legalizing possesion of marijuana under an ounce... "I'll jump anything!"
  7. Just when you couldnt think that it could get any lower a skydiver proves that you can go lower! Good one!Now that is funny!!! "I'll jump anything!"
  8. I always thought rugby was a big game of grab-ass, but that is a little ridiculous!!!! What the hell is wrong with people!!!! and I thought skydivers were strange people. "I'll jump anything!"
  9. I always thought rugby was a big game of grab-ass, but that is a little ridiculous!!!! What the hell is wrong with people!!!! and I though skydivers were strange people. "I'll jump anything!"
  10. I think shag is another term for pick up or catch...i.e. "shag some flyballs" or "shag those golf balls", that is the first time that I have heard tandemshaggers though...pretty funny. "I'll jump anything!"
  11. Thats what i figured you were getting at...some people are just superstitious about their rigs you know??? i.e. "if" something should happen to my friend on my rig...that is what i was wondering about. I would go for it, that is of course unless you are using it!!! "I'll jump anything!"
  12. What are you nervous about??? If you trust your friend, nothing should happen to it right??? If something happens to your rig...it sounds like your friend is honest enough to compensate you for it. If you are nervous about someone else jumping your rig (bad mojo type of thing), I would worry about it...if you are afraid that the rig may not be safe for your good friend then you shouldnt be jumping it either. I would just recommend that your friend knows the rig and all its little idiosynchrasies. A Base jumper got killed because they were jumping borrowed gear and couldnt find the handle...just a suggestion. Let em borrow it. "I'll jump anything!"
  13. I love to argue myself so no worries...we get to have fun and learn some things to boot. I think that its 50 to drop the newbie... "I'll jump anything!"
  14. Thats a very good question that I think everybody needs to ask themselves. I think that it would also be good to get in the habit of looking over the equipment of the people around you in the plane, not just your own. You dont have much else to do while you are on your ride up to altitude. We should take care of each other as well as ourselves. "I'll jump anything!"
  15. Nah, just foolin around with you...but I refuse to date whuffo chicks anymore. I have had 2 intentional cutaways from them already in less than 9 months. It just doesnt work. Plus, not only are skydiving chicks sexy but they are cool as sh*t!!! "I'll jump anything!"
  16. SkySlut...its not just a name it's a way off life!!! "I'll jump anything!"
  17. If a woman doesnt jump...do you really want to hang out with her??? I have noticed that those relationships usually dont work out from my experience. Plus, women skydivers are soooo sexy! "I'll jump anything!"
  18. Sound like they are having a rough time over there. That has got to be pretty embarassing if you are an instructor there. A student pays all that money and the instructor bounces them across the wire mesh. Exciting! I hope they get some better luck. "I'll jump anything!"
  19. April 15th-Super Otter. Safety Day this weekend. Show up! Especially with Rich Lancaster's passing. "I'll jump anything!"
  20. Geoff, I am not suggesting in any way that you plans should hing on people tracking in the right directions or that you should close the gap between groups. I am just saying that you should be aware. It is something that a lot of people do not think about or do not know about. It is easy to get disoriented and if you are disoriented, it is even easier to track into another group. Being aware of other groups and yourself is only one step in the safety process (along with proper time and angle separation out the door). The only thing I am saying is that jumpers should be aware of this. It is really scary to hear someone scream over your shoulder 20 feet away from you... "I'll jump anything!"
  21. I didnt feel like dealing with downloading the codecs and whatnot, but is that the clip from Chronicles III??? It sounds fairly similar, if it isnt check out the end of CIII and you will see another scary landing. "I'll jump anything!"
  22. Ahhhh. The Mel Rig!!! Yep, I rented the 190 at my DZ and then bought a 170 when I was at 25 jumps or so. It wasnt a major difference. However I started noticing differences with a 150 & 135...Have fun!!! "I'll jump anything!"
  23. word. my bad. "I'll jump anything!"
  24. Who me??? Why am I smoking crack??? Wouldnt you agree that you can track into a previous group if you arent aware of your relation to them??? No offense taken, that is what these groups are for...discussion. Please inform me of my erroneous ways. I am more than happy to listen. Thanks. "I'll jump anything!"
  25. I went to the windtunnel in florida which has the fans at the top of the tunnel and I had no problem. I weigh about 145 lbs, but there were people in there that were much heavier. Typically what they do is turn up and down the fan as needed. Did you see a fan operator in there working the controls??? Maybe that was the problem. But there shouldnt be an issue with getting you in a nice relaxed arch position. Where was this??? "I'll jump anything!"
