  7. The web site for the King of Swoop is now on line. You find all the information that we can share at this moment. We have 2 possible sites and the date for the next edition is set for July 2012 . Which week it will be, depends on the location. We'll keep the web page updated for your information. We have people in the US and in Europe working on the event planning and will come up with the "ideal deal" for competitors, friends, families and public. Any input and feed back is appreciated. Have fun with the www.Kingofswoop.com and hopefully we get your "Like" on Facebook. Blues Reinier
  8. If you're after a TONFLY video helmets, it's well worth contacting suppliers in Europe as they can send the helmets w/o tax to outside Europe. So if you're after a 3X, 2X or CC1 it might be worth contacting e.g. [email protected] to save some cash.
  9. I'll try to find out details for you. They have already left the DZ so I'm not sure when I will have reply.
  10. the mail is actually about the transmission technology and not about the mount. If you jump with equipment like "Jetman" Yves Rossy, fashion and good looks are not really an issue. Apart from that the helmet he wears is equipped with 2 separate cut away systems. for left and right side. If you need to look cool'n groovy in the bar, just don't wear the mount there ;-)
  11. Some pictures of a Live transmission system in combination with a GoProHero. It's made by a swiss genious for anothe swiss genious ("JETMAN" Yves Rossy). Cool, isn't it ?
  12. Here's one made from aluminium. It's got the advantage that the angle can be changed. 4 screws hold the camera sliding socket, unscrew them, change the angle, screw the 4 screws, done. Zkulls HeroWristMount
  13. some different set ups for gopro
  14. Mainly thought to use photo+video (either HERO photos and any video on top or HERO video with stills on top) This one will do the job. the camera attaches with the original gopro thumbscrew + 2 bungees that secure the camera. If that's not enough, there is an additional velcro option, soft velcro on camera box sides stick to hard velcro patches. With an optional plate you can also set the gopro so it's filming along your body down to your feet for track dives (2nd picture)
  15. Thx Peter, looks fantastic and might work ... I'm just not techy enough to follow that. Seems there is no easy solution for the case. The cam will have to do serial exposures ... thx
  16. ' have done that already but the Panasonic switch has got fiber cables (3) and "our" switches have got 2. Can't solder the fiber to the "normal" cabels .... thanks anyway
  17. Has anybody got a solution for a bite-, tongue- or blowswitch for a Panasonic Lumix GF1 ? The jack seems to be a standard 2.5mm pin but no remote (that I know) works with the thing. Thanks for info ...
  18. Some other mounts for front mounting the HERO. One is an upside down front mount. Advantage is that an additional camera still goes on top of the helmet. With standard gopro glue mounts the camera is exposed over the top line of the helmet and no second top mounted cam is possible. Also the hard plastic foot of the camera case can break (eg door frame) and that means 299 bucks gone. The second mount secures the camera with additional bungee straps.
  19. Here is a solution: Zkulls CX150 CAGE with ZkullsTM
  20. For those that do photos only and need some extra light using a "non large flat top surface helmet".The pictures show a flash mounted on the side of a FF helmet.
  21. For the CX100/105/106 you can use the original CAGE by RCB-Lab (Zkulls). Some photos attached. RCB also make you a custom CAGE for your 110 if you supply dimensions info
  22. New competition site in France. Pre scheduled date is 19.-22. August Close to Toulouse.
  23. I am event co-organiser for the CP and technical course director. I can confirm that the organisation will cover a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 training jumps. These jumps will be done during the scheduled competition days. There is NO possibility to do jumps on the competition site before the competition date. Dubai has a super tight air space and the Notam is valid for the dates that you find in the bulletin. Also at the moment I would not know an active skydiving operation nearby.
  24. Some information for participants. The course construction has been layd out respecting the local predominant winds. Courses in the morning shouls have light downwind conditions, afternoon courses sidewind. Preferably there will be distance and speed in downwind windows, accuracy in sidewind windows. I can't tell 100% but it's very likely that the speed will be set right hand carve. Be aware that the competition is taking place in sea water and not on an artificial pond ! There is very little wave but planning Accuracy with a sidewind will give us a "little" wave in the small bay. It's really little but for those that are used to artificial ponds this might be an additional "mission". There will be a completely equipped rigging loft with the possibility to clean and rinse equipment with sweet water.
