Don't know yet. I just finished today and should find out what I'm going to be flying on thursday. It will be either F/A-18s or Harriers.

Commercial multi-instrument and I will be getting my Naval Aviator wings on Friday. Have my last flight of flight school tomorrow. Been flying the T-45C
-
They can stay calm because they are on the ground.

I feel my canopy flying experience made me a better pilot when I first started flying. The ability to visually judge distances, closure, decent rates, etc. that I learned flying my canopy have helped enormously throughout the numerous phases of Navy flight school.

He was probably just pissed he got stuck flying props again. We had some Columbus instructors come down and take some rides and they were in disbelief how hard we slam the T-45 into the deck. You also have the advantage of being able to eat a roast beef sandwich and drink a root beer while you fly.

You mean real landing gear to take the impact of having to stop in 50'.

Something all those training aircraft are missing...

Which weather website for Skydiving?

There are several instances of pilots ejecting at supersonic speeds. Even though they are strapped to a seat the forces should be comparable to leaving a subsonic airliner.

+1 My little brother is 18 now.

We did a few a couple years ago using a 69 and 78 xaos-21. Flew them around in formation and then the guys holding on jumped off at around 8000'. Got the footage somewhere in a box. And then there's this. Kinda of like the reverse tandem thing but different. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lE3FmiV7uFs

Actually he still jumps it. We just get the harness resized every couple of years.

David Leeif Brandal - Stolen Gear

Thanks for interest in this case. Several Canadian jumpers have Pm'd me with the whereabouts of the canopy and David. Apparently he gave it to the DZO as collateral for unpaid bills at the DZ. Hopefully I will get it back soon. -
David Leeif Brandal - Stolen Gear

The container is a smaller wings, I believe the largest it looks like it can hold would be a 120. It'll go for a good price, but I still need to make up some of the loss on the canopy. -
David Leeif Brandal - Stolen Gear
jeffmullins replied to jeffmullins's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Anyone know a David Leif Brandal from Canada. I was involved in a transaction with him starting in December. I sent him a canopy he was interested in, and in return he sent me a rig as collateral so he could jump the canopy and see how he liked it. He kept stalling on payment, and constantly fed me stories of how he was getting the money together. Eventually he offered to return the canopy when I told him I was selling his rig, but as usual no canopy was sent. I still have his rig and am about to put it in the classifieds. If anyone knows him personally please have him contact me asap. I believe there is a real person by this name because it is embroidered on a brand new wings container. -

That was a fun and small comp. Too bad no one else from the region showed up but Paul and Ian. I would like to be at more of those but I don't think the let you leave OCS for swoop comps. -
Thanks, those are perfect for what I needed.

Anyone have any good pictures of malfunctions that would be suitable for a first jump course presentation?

I have been jumping for almost 8 years now and over half of my life and I haven't aged prematurely.
