A friend of mine used to be an apartment community manager. People complaining about being able to hear their neighbors having sex isn't an uncommon complaint. Go complain to the property manager. Well, don't complain. Let he/she know your story - they'll understand that it's a hard conversation to have. If they're a good manager, they'll say something to the noisey pair upstairs. Maybe.

I'm breaking my knees back into running - no pun intended. I had surgery for a partially torn patellar tendon about 3 1/2 months ago. I'm running 2 miles in the AM about 4 or 5 times a week. Doc's pretty much told me no longer than 20 minutes of running until the end of March. Not too long ago, I was running a 4-5 miles in the AM ... this lame 2 miles is killing me. BUT I'm thinking about adding some weights in the evening. Now if only i wasn't eating reeses bunnies at work, I'd be in great shape.

I agree. I hate when people say it's so selfish of someone to commit suicide because of the people they leave behind. To me it's selfish of the "people left behind" to think they're more important. If someone is truly in that much pain and chooses to die, they should have that option. Agreed.
