Hey Francois, Not just your main but your reserve too? Heard about your unfortunate accident. Care to elaborate? I broke my femur a couple of years ago and had the pin taken out a year later. I jumped with the pin in as soon as I was comfortable and strong enough to jump again. The healing takes a while but you can help out by exercising your leg should the doctor give the OK. Hope you heal fast. “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA

What does "right hand pattern" mean to swoopers?
selwynj replied to 78RATS's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
I like this explanation best with the illustrations. You suck at drawing circles though. On a different note on the 450 : if you initiate right do you keep going right to until you have completed the 450? I see some guys doing a left 90 and then 360 the other way. I apologize for taking this off topic. “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA -
Nice move my friend. Definately the way to go! Good luck on AFF. “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA

I agree with you. If you are not using this wing for its intended purpose, which is to fly really fast and swoop far then there is no pupose, except for packing extra material, to use these canopies. “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA

Pretty sure you replied to the wrong post. I definitely do not find my velo/xaos boring. “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA

Had a similar experience with Mads. Best service I have ever received in 18 years of business.

Spiralling big ol' barge of a canopy

Most people will use toggle input for this. Getting some canopy coaching will definately help. Be safe “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA -
What great service! I purchased a Viso some time ago when these became available and really enjoyed the digital screen. I accidently broke the alti on an exit and then contacted L&B via e-mail. They said send it back and we will have a look at it. Not only did they look at the damage, they send me a new one. Yes a new one including the safety cover free!!! This is unparalleled service and I definitely want to place a feather in their cap. I will happily continue jumping their products. Well Done! “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA

Hi Freeflydemon, I started with a Xaos 27. The wingload was just over 2 and I moved from a 9 cell laoded at 1.8. I did +- 50 jumps on this wingload and moved to a smaller wing. The Xaos 27 is a fairly stable opener and in my expierience it can be flown safely with the correct knowledge. A velo in my opinion is not for a beginner. You are already flying a very aggressive wingload on a 9 cell. Please find a canopy pilot that you trust and have a discussion with him. Stay safe. “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA

I have done a search for the measurement on a velocity 96 lineset and have not come up with what I need. Can someone help? “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA

I own a Velo and a Xaos 27. The Velo is more ground hungry and does not get back from a long spot as easily as the Xaos. Both are good on openings. I am sure that flying teqnique could make a big change in getting back. I normally ride the rears if getting back. This seems to work better on the Xaos. “It takes ten years to get ten years’ experience” Eric "tonto" Stephenson D515 PASA
