she has seen accidents happen detail for detail in a dream, then a few weeks or months later they happen to her or to people she knows. she's also had symbolic dreams that have been interpreted and recorded then they happen, or something happens along those story lines. we've ran thru what it could mean but she doesn't think that it's applicable to her since i was in it etc.. is there anyone who can interpret dreams? i'm gererally sceptical but since this person has had these happen a few times and theres a growing pattern i thought i might heed anything that was to develop from it for a change...

because whenever this person has had dreams before they have always happened (symbollically) or in reality i'm inclined to pay attention to it as well because i was the subject in it that died and had the charred hands ..

can anyone here interpret dreams? a plane flying around the sky, it then crashes i am running towards it i then see fire and black smoke lots of it then i see black and green torn clothes and a charred/burnt hand please, this is a serious question, i know some people think dreams are just imaginations running wild. but it wasn't me that had it it was someone else. and this person would like to know what it means..... it has to mean something ... thanks

try doing your first jump out of a c182 with no door. actually kneeling up in the door all the way ! theres an incentive to get qualified and jump the "big" plane for you lol i've always loved planes and flying and all that stuff so having a fly around in the cessna was no biggy apart from the door (or lack of it) one thing i would say helped me is, relax and enjoy the view, think of what you need to do (not super concentrating just run thru it in your head) visualise your malfunction drills end to end, the whole jump how you want it to go. that worked for me anyway..

i was so scared on one of my lifts back i nearly pissed myself ..... just keep your mind occupied, focus, more importantly take your time.. deep breath ..... go ... and then love the feeling and the view ...

i also think *call me radical if you want* people shouldn't be grandfathered into any of the ratings.. i think there should be a grace period in which to demonstrate these skills under canopy before you get the sticker CH1 included ... for those who have just came out the back of the system and those who still don't know enough... what do you guys think?

got a couple of pm's from people saying i'm out of order saying what i said or whatever.. i'm not knocking what the bpa do, just sometimes how they do it they do a great job at 90% of things. i also agree i could have said my piece in a more constructive way ! so again, apologies

CCI = Centre Chief Instructor CP = Canopy Piloting CH = Canopy Handling BPA = British Parachute Association (who rock.. no arguments) i think that as time has gone on the level of "woohaaa lets have it" among new jumpers has gone up...... i have been doing double and turning approaches for a while now, however i think maybe i should have learned in a different way rather than having a go myself. i think 200 jumps for someone who has had no official canopy coaching is a good benchmark for starting HP landings. however on the other hand i also think more training for those who want it should be at hand on canopy handling and progression, an actual single qualified person to go to and learn about what you would like to learn about rather than going round and asking a few different people.

does anyone know if there are any uk swooping events happening this year? when & where

i'm not dening that the BPA does a great job, but somehow i feel that some of the things the bpa decide and do isn't really for the best of it's members. yeah all the forms are on the website, how do you get to them? (retorical question) i've yet to be able to find the page without having to go to google. the website (after what has been put up for buget for it) should be easy to navigate as a minimum.

i did another 5 coached jumps this weekend and my sit has come on a treat, it's going to be solos for a while now till i can afford more coachin lol, taking on board the posture vibe big time and actually sitting at work like i have a pole up my ass lol cheers for the feedback peeps, if you look at what i was like on my 100th jump video i think it's an improvement lol
