  1. Bones. Man you have to consult shrunken heads. These have given me good advice in the past: http://www.salangome.com/shrunken_head.asp
  2. True, but who destabilized the entire country. We have to accept responsibility for the cluster fuck we created. At least under Saddam daily suicide bombers were not the norm. The country and region was better off with Saddam in power. Now not only do we have to deal with Iraq but Iran too. Brilliant move on the admins part.
  3. I totally agree. Cool dogs BTW. I use to have dobie, now I have a 115lb female Akita. Sometmes I wonder if there is a dog underneath all that fur.
  4. If you decide to live in a rural area you have to accept the risks. It's like buying a house in the Keys and bitching about hurricanes and then when one destroys your house going to the feds and asking for money to rebuild it. Here in So Cal we have people buying houses close to rural areas where Mountain Lions live and then they bitch about the lions coming into the neighborhood. If you don't want to deal with wildlife then don't live there. A few weeks ago a man shot a mountain lion because he thought it was a risk to the community. He didn't even call the police or Fish and Wildlife, the fucker just shot the animal.
  5. Hey thanks for all the replies, and taking the time to answer my question.
  6. The last jump of the weekend I had a really interesting hard opening. Basically go to my belly, wave off, go for the pud and pull. One thing I did notice was that I felt my torso dip a little when I pulled. Almost like going into a dive. Could this have affected the opening which in turn resulted in a really hard opening with a nice set of line twists. Someone mentioned that it could've been a line dump, I doubt it cuz it's new gear and I make sure the lines are neatly secured and if any of the rubber bands look worn I replace them. I know it's trivial in the scheme of things but just curious as to what the cause could've been. I'm also considering the s*&^t happens factor when deploying a parachute hurling 120mph towards mother earth.
  7. I saw those charts, but why is it more expensive. Does the investigation and evidence need to be more complete than a life w/o parole. Is it a more complex case over all.
  8. When was the last time a Jewish teenager strapped on a suicide vest, walked into a cafe and blew himself up? I've seen many documentaries where Palestinian kids, under 10yo, are donning mock suicide vest. I remember seeing on TV a crowd of Palestinians cheering and dancing when the played a recording of the jets hitting the WTC. Who seems to be breeding the culture of hatred now.
  9. Most DP supporters could care less about those innocent individuals. They just want revenge in the end. Hey when you make an omelet you need to break a few eggs.
  10. Very true. Also remember that Israel has won every war the Arab nations have started. In the six day war Israel lost around 1000 troops while the Egypt, Syria and Jordan lost over 15,000. They cant face that fact and bitch and whine about Israel. Israel has shown a lot of restraint with these Arab nations. I remember someone saying Israel was pretty close to using nukes in the Yum Kipper War, IMO they should've used them against one country as an example.
  11. How would they distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants. I mean if they know they are illegal why not just call the INS. Arizona's bill is BS, taxing all outgoing wire transfers. When I was in school in Europe my folks would wire transfer me money, so that mean now they are getting taxed again ontop of Fed and State. It's total BS.
  12. I don't think Israel should have a carte blanche to do what they please. But when a few countries vow to wipe your race and country off the face of the Earth what are you going to do. That region has a long and bloody history. I can see both sides of the issue and I do tend do support Israel most of the time. I don't agree with their tactics 100% of the time though. Again I got back to the six day war. Egypt had moved 100,000 troop and over 1000 tanks to the Sinai. Israel was well within its rights to launch a preemptive attack. Bottom line is the Egypt, Jordan and Syria got a royal ass kicking and lost a lot of land. Rather than accept that fact they whine about it and fail to recognize Israel's legitimacy.
  13. Name one country that has not used torture or assassination. Israel has all the right to use those tactics. I'm sure you've heard of the Engineer. The man who invented the suicide vest. Israel assassinated him and they had all the right to do so. What were they supposed to do. Sit on their asses and wait for the guy to turn himself in or ask for forgiveness. Look at the Olympic games in Munich. What was Israel supposed to do. Sit down and wait for the World to catch the terrorists. Saddam was building a nuclear power plant back in the late 70s or early 80s. Who was the only country with the balls to stop him. It wasn't the USA or UK. Israel blew the crap out of that facility and thank God. They even planned to kill Saddam, but decided not to since the operation was too risky. What's your take on the six day war? Was Israel supposed to sit down, have a tea and wait for Syria, Jordan, and Egypt to declare war. First they prepare for an attack on Israel, then Israel kicks the crap out of them gaining the Occupied Territories. Now the Arabs are really pissed because not only did they lose but lost a lot of land. Come on.
  14. IMO this law is BS. Police already have less than lethal weapons at their disposal. Also we dont train killer here. Each country is different. I seriously doubt German police encounter the same problems an LAPD office working in South Central LA does on a daily basis.
  15. I wouldnt say this is the only factor. I'm sure things would be different if the Vets had a powerful wealthy lobbyist in DC.
  16. I dont think consulted is the right word. When you consult someone you place a value on their advice and might act on it. Like you would consult a tax attorney or a a CPA. What celebs do is give their opinion. Like the nut job, scientologist Cruise on Ophra. Also these people live in a world so far removed from reality. I remember reading a story of some actor crashing his Porsche and walking into a dealership just to buy a new one within a few hours of his accident.
  17. Not only that, but look at how Christianity treated women throughout its history. Hell, look at how it treated any group that posed a threat to it. After reading the Da Vinci Code a few months ago I started reading up on the history of Christianity and the Church. It's eye opening and twisted to say the least.
  18. Doubtful. Try looking up the Saudi religious police. I'm sure these act more as a deterrent than the executions.
  19. Because we invaded the fucking country. Hell it took a mofo SOB like Saddam Hussein to keep these factions from ripping the country apart and now you're surprised this is going on. Bush created this whole cluster fuck and the poor bastards who have to pay are our men and women in the armed forces and the Iraqi people. It's totally fucked.
  20. On Iran building nukes that is a topic that we and the rest of the world have to address. As to what a sovereign nation does with it's citizen I could care less. If Iran wants to ban everything, go right ahead. It is not our right to shove our values onto others. If the Iranian people don't like it then they can do something about it. We did it back in the late 1700s, hell even the French got pissed and a few heads rolled, look at what the Russians did too. If people want change and freedom they have to fight for it.
  21. Well this is what I would broadcast: Dear President Mahmud Ahmadinejad, The Vice President of the United States cordially invites you to a weekend of Quail hunting in the great state of Texas. We know that at this moment the relations between our two nations is severally strained. Hopefully, after a weekend of hunting with the VP in a 50,000 acre ranch we can start to form a lasting and mutually beneficial friendship. Hey it just might work.
  22. Very well said. I've read numerous studies where its states that 20-25% of men and 15% of women cheat on their spouse.Plus look at the following statistics. http://www.divorcemag.com/statistics/statsUS.shtml
  23. Dude the VP shot a 78yo lawyer. That's the stuff comedians and the press have wet dreams about. The WH press office really fumbled this one waiting so long to address the incident. Any intelligent person would've realized the implications of waiting so long to issue a statement.
  24. Do you have any hard scientiic studies? I'm talking from reputable schools. Here's one from UCLA. UCLA http://www.newswise.com/articles/view/501420/ I know more stories where the opposite is true. Also look at the Kinsey Scale. You're segregating everyone into either hetero or homo there is also bisexual.
  25. You pretty much summed up what I believe. It is so much easier to brand it a 'lifestyle' because then it's a choice and they are free to chose right from wrong. It also becomes easier to brand the homosexual a second class citizen because they choose that lifestyle. I find that view pretty hypocritical when you look at the state of heterosexual marriage as a whole. Most end in divorce, infidelity is rampant and we've turned the institution of marriage into prime time reality TV entertainment. Look at shows like the Bachelor, Bachelorette, Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire, Trading Spouses.
