Hi Marz, I'm the Avonex Area Business Manager in Colorado. As far as the flu like symptoms go, yes you will have that with all interferons. If you give your injection 2 hours before you go to sleep, you should be able to sleep it off. Also, make sure that the day after you don't have a million activities planned because that physical exhaustion will increase your flu like side effects. Hope that's helpful!
