Student can get a good hold on you. Can go head low on opening. And being a girl I know for sure if I saw my tand vid and noticed my TI grabbing me like that I would definately be offended. If you're worried about them falling out...hook their feet right before you deploy. They would only fall out if their legs were to fling really far forward. If you have them hooked so they can't...you're golden.

If you can read I simply was copying what linestretch said. I've actually never packed a wings reserve. I think they look like shit any way they are packed. They are a fat little stubby cheap rig. In my opinion, of course. But you shoud definately be proud of yourself that you are such an awesome rigger. Good job.

as a rigger AND an owner of an infinity....hands down infinity! Easier to pack, and I think looks MUCH better. Even a shade tree rigger can make an infinity look decent....but with a wings it can and will look like shit.

Not crossbraced. Just a Icarus 285 with the 6 single toggle steering line. Really really nice canopy. I weigh 64kg and the biggest person I ever took on it was probably 80kg. Landed great in no wind up to super super windy.

Why would I compare things now to things in the past? Yeah...you could say that SET's are awesome compared to what there used to be. But... NOW there are alot better canopies than the SET.

I'm sorry you didn't hear my sarcastic tone thru the computer. I've jumped SET 400's, Icarus 365's, 330's, 300's and 285's and a HOP 330. The SET is a large piece of shit in every aspect. All the Icarus canopies are good and the HOP is OK too. Most my tandems (~1500 total) are on the Icarus 300. But my favorite was the 285...can't wait to get back to that.

I have a HC32. The way our video editor wants the vids to end is us fading to black. With my set-up...it involves taking off my helmet, opening up the case (FF2), having to set my rig down, opening the screen and going thru menu's. I pay someone to edit...all in the field after I land and am waiting for my tandem to land...so it's really not worth the hassle to me to do all that. So I've been going to the sun and then just covering the lense to be black for a couple seconds. The other video guys here have older cameras that the fade to black button is on the outside of their camera, which allows them to just reach up and hit a button. I've used editing equipment where you can just fade out to black...but our editor doesn't have that so I guess it's not really an option. Anyway...wanting to know if anyone has an idea or knows of a way I can fade to black AFTER I've recorded everything I want???

I'm trying to figure out the prices for some used cyp's but am having a hard time with the calculator SSK has. It asks cypres cost...but I thought that's what you were trying to figure out. Or do you put a new cypres cost? I keep getting a value of $80 no matter what DOM's I enter.

True. But those standards could atleast be met! Most places in the States either don't care or don't realize that their hand cam footage is pretty much shit. Which is why most people in the States think hand cam IS shit, cuz that's all they see. Hand cam footage really can be very nice!
