    smoke

Thanks for the info! Do you know how to get in contact with the manufacturer?

    smoke

Has any one jumped with smoke? I can't find brackets or anything for sale. Can you just duct tape it on the bottom of your shoe, or will it burn? Also, does anyone know where you can buy smoke besides paragear?
  12. I jump an esprit 170. i like it alot. I have heard they open hard, but i never had one.
  13. Does anyone know of a site that explains how to psycho pack? Are there any zp canopies out there that it is NOT recommended to pack this way, or can you do them all in this manner? "it's better to burn in than burn out"-

    Groaners........

Here is one you might like: a student on his first jump decides he does not want to jump after all, so he tells the Jumpmaster. The jumpmaster shouts, "If you don't jump from this plane right now I'm going to screw you in the ass"! The next day the student goes to his job and his co-workers ask, "so did you jump"? Yeah, a little at first. blue skies and fly free....................Jake
  15. Now its time to get vertical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A really cool exit on a 182 is to hang from the strut backwards, look at the wing, let go and go into a backtrack into the relative wind. If you do it right, you will actually stay with the plane for a few seconds and watching it fall away, (well, you are doing the falling!)but try to trip your mind out into thinking the plane is falling, not you. Then you just do a barrel roll and WOW, ground. It's alot of fun and it builds you backtracking and barrel roll skills, both are helpful on skydiving. I incorporate barrel rolls almost every time I track away from a formation just to check the air above. Hope this helps!! Blue Skies and Fly Free..............Jake
  16. a new car so I can drive to the dropzone.
  17. hey, I have a good flite suit for sale on the auction. Very low jumps, it is the body suit from flite suit(RW) I paid 250 for all the options, bid starts at 125. Started freeflying-Jake69
  18. Anyone ever had an infinity that the stiffener plate at the closing loop has torn through????? I had it happen on a freefly jump on Sat. I'm sending it out today, but just wanted to see if it has happened to any on else. The rig only has 30 jumps on it. Weird huh??? Overall, still a sweet as hell tricked out container!
  19. The only canopy type that I have seen this on is skydiving canopies that have been converted for BASE, for a stronger attach point.
  20. The Tempo you are using is fine. My exit weight is 200 lbs and I jump a 170. I have seen people jump a Tempo 170 with an exit weight of 250 lbs. Probable not safe, but it flared and landed them fine. I have heard they had problems in the past, but I am sure they have worked all the bugs out. The reason I have been told they are inexpensive is because PISA makes the F111 fabric, unlike other manufacturers who have to buy it from a distributor. Blue skies and fly FREE. Jake
  21. If youn are looking for a good container, check out www.skykat.com. I just got a tricked out Infinity for $1100 delivered. no extra costs for shipping or credit card. I was going to get a dolphin 2000 till I saw someones toggle come out while in a sitfly. For the price, just pay the extra 4 or 5 hundred and feel FREE. just my 2 pennies. Jake
  22. Anyone know where I can get a collapsable pocket slider for an Esprit? I also want to know if anyone has cut theirs off in the past. I don't roll the nose at all(it snivels way too long) so I guess I'm wondering if I cut it off and start rolling the nose will I be OK.
  23. I think there are some pics somewhere of Rook Nelson doing a tandem when he was like 4 years old. It might be on the skydive Chicago site.

    Infinity

The Infinity is great!!!! I wanted a rig I could freefly in and the Infinity is definatly the rig. It is inexpensive and is made tough. I got it in just a few weeks, custom with all the trimmings. Fits well, and is NOT coming open, no matter how you fly. Hats off to Andy, he definatly makes a tight rig.
