Ok define ''entire world's military budget''
-
Where can I read up on this and learn more? Who dies??? The contractor? The politician?
-
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm clueless dude, sorry! So we use other nations military money on our own defense?
-
This was always a big mystery to me too. Sooo what happens if the Gov't says "No more spending big money on defense!" or "No more money goes to the contractors!" Will the defense contractors retaliate?? Will they be angry at the Gov't? I just wish I understood how all this worked .

company A and company B make baseball hats company A can make them cheaper by cutting labor costs and sell for a lower price. company B has 2 options... Dude what about the the hundreds of corporations who have adapted and reformulated their business models to stay competitive and keep production here? Uhh.. Yes, thank you. Right because walmart is FULL of customers complaining that they cannot find goods made in the USA. .
-
What?? I didn't realize we had the power to spend other country's money on our own defense? How much do we get from China and Russia? And why 50%? Why not just 15 or 20% to try and keep it inconspicuous?

The most watched video in internet history
loumeinhart replied to Tony-tonysuits's topic in Speakers Corner
Uh yea tried..um the first 2 minutes are clips of warfare followed by some nebulous imagery showing the earth and galaxies or something (with mysterious music.) OK if this is supposed to be 'informative' then why do you have to sell it like that? Where do you guys get your news? NY Times?? Does NYtimes.com play dark music and setup their frontpage stories with eye-catching images for 2 minutes? So no, didn't watch it, don't have the time. Is there an article I can read instead? So is TB not allowed to work for JP Morgan? What's the conspiracy entail? I'm dying to know! -

Not sure what the conspiracy is. Is JP Morgan not allowed to hire Tony Blair? Is TB not allowed to work for JPMorgan? How does cnn know about this if it's a conspiracy? Who leaked it and did they get shot yet? I didn't major in global business/politics so could you explain.. -
Corliss Is Really Going To Jump W.O. Parachute

I once worked with a dude that belonged to the British Marines. He said they would dump you out at like 50ft above the jungle and you just rode the foliage down. . -

Kinda have to disagree. A dead-sticked 182 is still flying even though it can't gain altitude like a powerless glider can. -
Nice post dude. Personal responsiblity is a foreign language to some people. I'm proud to say that I am not or ever will be a 'victim'. Where there is a victim there is a crime. Let this type of people cry in their soup because they couldn't make a way for themselves. This is USA. You can become and do whatever the hell you want...but wait...it takes hard work! Want good med benifits? Get the right job. Want to retire with security? Put money away. Don't like the education system? Homeschool your kids. I want someone to tell me exactly specificly how they CaNNOT get ahead in the next 10 years of their life.

No not trying to be facetious. I appreciate your post but I'm having trouble understanding your point. You said a lot and I'm not sure what you were trying to get across... sorry!

Not sure what you mean... -
Thank you for the informative post. I agree with certain programs that are in place. They ensure my safety and yours. Is Downs Syndrome a communicable disease? I don't think the CDC is concerned with Downs Syndrome. I'm in over my head here.. I didn't go to college !!

I desperately want to say B because I'm all for helping people in need. But who decides where the line is drawn on determining rich vs ordinary? One could have an AHI of 40,000 + great medical coverage. One could have an AHI of 80,000 with no coverage. Does it also depend on the severity of the disease?
-
I guess we just disagree. Look there are PLENTY of organizatins and foundations profit/non profit who one can turn to with CP or DS. Try googling "cerebral palsy donations". Do 100% of your donations make it to the sick kid? Maybe not. Many people are genuinely compassionate and make donations by CHOICE. I wouldn't expect a complete stranger to be obligated to reach into his wallet for my sick child. If I have to pay for kids with CP and DS, then what else?? AIDS? cancer? TB? Flu? office visits? medicine? on and on ....and WHO DECIDES THIS?
-
Lindsay said "how about...education highways....things we all use..... You said Oh, so taxes should only go for things YOU approve of. Dude take a poll. Should tax money go for 1 roads/education ..or 2 cerebral palsy/Down's Syndrome God bless anyone who has to deal with these diseases. If you have a child then you just took on a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY. If the kid is messed up then as a parent you better be able to support/treat/accomodate your child's youth and adult years. Don't have a child and then call the State to help you. And if you are an adult diagonsed later in life with a disease? Well, do the best you can but don't expect me (the State) to pay for you.
-
Sure. I would rather spend my tax money on an EFFORT to stabilize a region that I prefer an ally rather than enemy and only because I buy oil from them. "Less fortunate" could be anyone. It could be the millionare across town that just got diagnosed with cancer. He is WAY less fortunate then me. I'm not going to give him money though.

Dude Bush and Co. are located in the UK!! Google it! I don't think they have anything to do with the US Real Estate / Investment Market. Bush & CompanyBush & Company Rehabilitation LLP offer three main services: expert witness quantum reports, immediate needs assessments and case management services and ... www.bushco.co.uk/ - 11k - Cached - Similar pages President Bush cannot nullify an agreement between lender and borrower Do you mean all subprime borrowers are "poor" ?? Absolutely NOT. I've seen plenty of 6-figure salaries with a 525 mid score A recession by definition is 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth. -

An agreement between a mortgagee (bank) and mortgagor (borrower) is called a Forbearance Agreement and is usually available on like a one-time basis if you get behind. The lender will divide your delinquent amount $ over a period of time and add it to your monthly payment until you are up to date. Credit cards do the same thing but it's called a re-age. Believe me the lenders/servicers/investors do NOT want to foreclose on collateral.
