I have a fair complexion and good skin, but if I drink ANYTHING other than light beer. ie bud/r rock/vodka/ I get huge red blotches on my face and down my neck - they almost look like birthmarks or a bad rash, my face feels real warm. This will happen after 2 tall budweisers - but I could drink bud light all night and never get them ????

I'm a newbie with 60 jumps and completely agree. My first 20 I just threw it in the tent and paid, then I realized one day during a gear check I didn't know EXACTLY how everything worked. I started packing and it sucked, I was still flaking while everyone was getting on the plane. I got tips from experienced packers some worked some didn't. 40 jumps later I have a rhythm and I'm confident with the pack.

yea my old man flies helis, He's real patient and has time to burn at the bench plus he's a machinist and makes many of his own parts. Me, would rather flip start my prop, hand launch it, then fly'er till she deadsticks! I want to find a stretch of road about 5 miles long with no utility lines / trees, then from my pickup bed (going about 20mph) I'd fly my plane in right above the cab then grab the fuselage under the wing...........then do it inverted!!!

Bailed out of fighter jet at night (you know Mac could fly fighter jets of course) 3. Made and flew a pwd-paraglider in about 15minutes - to get a way from bad guys 4. Landed a square w/ no flare onto rock surface, then hiked into jungle 5. Jumped a round out of a cargo plane after fixing landing gear .........wow I've got too much time on my hands at work!!

I routed the bridle through the bottom of the right flap. On the ground we couldn't pull hard enough to dislodge the pin. That was my 5th packjob and I won't do that again. Oh yea, the creek landing was embarrassing to say the least. Many people there that day. I guess my first high-speed mal put me behind the power curve and I landed west at this DZ only once before.
