The Beast Is Starved: Welcome to the Next Great Depression
loumeinhart replied to dreamdancer's topic in Speakers Corner
dude WTF are you on?? So how many of the shareholders have to die before the law will allow for the Federal Government to padlock the company, send everyone home, turn off the lights and nail up an auction sign? -
Nobody listened to Air America so they couldn't sell advertising. Folks who earn/save money listen to talk radio to stay informed Folks who use foodstamps listen to Pdiddy Quade, It's not a conspiracy at all. An audience for left-wing radio simply doesn't exist Yes right-wing radio is anti-union. It's 2011. Sack up and find a decent paying job. If you can't earn more than $10/hr as an adult then it's your own damn fault.

Ever try parking a Toyota in front of a Carpenter's local? Yes..it's 2011 and they will tell you to move it. They have forced people to move vehicles that they don't own that sit on public roads. If unions are so necessary, why are there none in the skydiving world? I mean Quade said there is power in numbers. There are plenty of I's out there humping it everyday...

I think it's time that you put the computer down. Screetscooby has pretty much owned you on numbers and facts (some from you own posts). It's clear that you advocate income redistribution. You would be much happier living in the Soviet Union. Then you could post on the Internet all day about how great it is! -

I want to comment on your thread's title. I think you should take a moment and sit down with someone who remembers the early 30's. Even remotely comparing the current situation to the Great Depression is nothing short of an insult to that generation. Many of today's "poor" watch TV in the air conditioning while texting their friends about scratchoff tickets. And after an excess of fastfood renders them too fat to walk they will order their free scooter. -

Of course I agree frequency allocation is a role of the federal govt. Otherwise we'd be stepping all over each another. Maybe I'm wayyy off base but it seems government programs are not efficient because without tax revenue they couldn't operate. NPR/USPS would tank without subsidies. Furthermore, if the US Dept of Education is "far more efficient" than private sector alternatives..I just won't bother reproducing -

Dude who's giant ass are you pulling this data from? You just said: "The Cost to the Economy will be Less than It is at the Moment" -? what does that even mean? Please keep your big gov hands off of the thousands of well paid medical employees here in North East Ohio thank you very much. -

The financial system was not brought "down". Have you been to the US lately? There is a bank on every corner, interest rates are still much lower then they were 30yrs ago, home prices are the lowest ever, and most who "lost it all" in their 401K have recovered + some. You're such a pessimist. You should create a post and mention 10 positive things, instead of constantly bashing a Country in which you don't even live.. -

That is a negative ghostrider. You have no idea what I pay monthly and the kind of service I receive from my private insurer. It's highly unlikely that the Federal government could provide me the same coverage and level of service for the price I pay now. -

Ok. I'm with you so far.. name one of the corporations that run the US. -
I could be wrong but isn't an sba loan supposed to be paid back with interest?
-
wow doi lay off the glue

I agree and there's no arguing that. So you inflected that the US is a good place to be if you're income is 1mill/yr. I'm asking where it's bad to make 1mill/yr, or the US equivalent.
-
Uh yea. It's a million bucks a year dude. Where is it BAD to make a million/yr?
