i have no idea what it's like to be the president on a daily basis so, i don't know if he needs a vacation or not. i do know that he means no disrespect to any military member. having been a soldier, you are absolutely correct when you say that most of the soldiers in foreign theaters want a vacation right now.

my point is that when america invaded iraq, several different intelligence agencies believed that saddam had and was looney enough to use WMDs. further, he had been breaking sanctions imposed on him by the UN for a full decade. further, the american congress and the UN passed resolutions allowing america to do what it did. in short and in my opinion, invading iraq was the correct thing to do given the information available at the time.
