  1. I tend to over-pronate, plus I have almost no arch, so the best shoe for me was the Gel Revolution II by ASICS. If you want to find the best shoe for you, go to an experienced running store. They'll look at how you walk and the shape of your foot before giving you a list of shoes to try. When I'm at the DZ though, I'm always in my purple lowtop Chucks. Which IPOD?

Reminds me of a t-shirt I saw once that read, "I was listening to Hansen when they were still underground." Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

    Which IPOD?

A very limited device? It just needs to play music, which it does extremely well. What else do you want it to do? Check your e-mail? Sheesh. And no third-party software is needed to move files on and off if you're just using it for storage. Plug it into a Windows / Mac / Linux box via USB or FireWire and it shows up as another hard drive. Nothing could be simpler. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

    Which IPOD?

Forget what the haters say. There's a reason why the iPod is so amazingly popular. It. Just. Works. The Nano is pretty indestructible, but he'll have more space on the 30GB. I have a 20GB model right now and I've dropped it several times, sent it flying off the seat of my car, and had to rescue it from my ferrets once. It still keeps cranking out the tunes. 6. My wife and I watched it, then we turned to each other at the same time and asked, "Is she drunk?!" It was entertaining to watch Paula Abdul make an ass out of herself not once, but twice. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  7. No kidding. I hate reality TV and Dagny has me so hooked on that damn show. I'm now rooting for Taylor Hicks / Chris Daughtry and Kellie Pickler / Mandisa / Paris. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  8. I've tried the regular and diet and can't stand either. My wife loves the diet version though. I'm all about the Coke Zero however. That's just good stuff. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

    LCD monitors

I have to second Samsung. Their LCD panels are some of the best around. Some of the top-end monitors around (Dell, etc...) use Samsung panels in their monitors. I have the SyncMaster 204T 20.1" running at 1600x1200 and it's gorgeous. Great color reproduction, no ghosting (even playing FEAR or NFS Most Wanted), and it has a sensor that automatically adjusts the resolution when you pivot the display. If you don't want to drop $550 on a monitor, you can't go wrong with their 19". Check the prices at www.newegg.com and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. ps, I love having all my desk space back after getting rid of my 19" CRT. 10. Someone else with great taste! Their Maya Gold is my absolute fave, second only to their Hazelnut, Almond, & Brazil luxury bar.
  11. You can do with with 5 small people in a wide-body 182. Especially if it's jazzed up with a STOL kit and wingtip extensions. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  12. Damn...I thought I'd win this one! 93.4GB / 17,460 songs. Oh, and every single track is properly ID3 tagged (artist, title, album and genre) so that I can drop it on my iPod and not have to worry about the display info being different from the file name. 15. Sigh, you were right. I can't quite describe what it is, but there's just something about a Moe's Homewrecker burrito that just can't be topped. Besides, you have to love a place that has menu items named; Joey Bag of Donuts, Triple Lindy, the Art Vandalay, The Other Lewinsky, Ugly Naked Guy, I Said Posse, Moo Moo Mr. Cow, and the Mini-Me. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  16. I used to think Freebirds was at the top of the foodchain, until I moved to Tampa and found Moe's. Now I have truly found burrito nirvana. As for the others, I don't classify Chipotle as food. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  17. Nope, it's not dotcom economics. If I'm not mistaken, RWS earns their money on replacement parts and *drumroll* Tandem systems. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

  19. I like it because I've made lifelong friends from my time here on DZ.com. I also met my wife, the beautiful Melissa (Dagny), on here.

  21. I could do that at around 150 jumps. Then again, I learned at a Cessna DZ and got my IAD Jumpmaster rating at around 120 jumps. Spotting is 70% science / 30% art & experience. No, I don't have specifics on if we're within 0.005 degrees of jumprun, but I DO make sure I know the winds aloft and where jumprun is at before I start jumping for the day. With that information, you'd better believe that I can look out the door of an Otter at 14K, or hang over the ramp of a CASA and be able to accurately check the spot. I've pulled back from an early spot and kept the entire load from landing off airport in an Otter. You need to have a bit more faith in training and experience. Feel free to use GPS, but make sure you still look out the door. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  22. Oh, one other thing...if the binder in your ring is cobalt rather than nickel, that may be your problem. Cobalt will react with your body chemisty and leech out, giving you an oxidation like tarnished siver, which can't be polished or ground out. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
  23. Doesn't Andyman have one? I could have sworn... One thing you can try is a jeweler's polishing cloth. It's a very fine abrasive (2000+ grit). My titanium band is doing the same thing a bit. If I buff it with a cloth, it seems to come right back. Just a couple of ideas.
