It thought you weren't blonde... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

Mine comes from one of my favorite e.e.cummings poems... life is more true than reason will deceive (more secret or than madness did reveal) deeper is life than lose:higher than have --but beauty is more each than living’s all multiplied with infinity sans if the mightiest meditations of mankind canceled are by one merely opening leaf (beyond whose nearness there is no beyond) or does some littler bird than eyes can learn look up to silence and completely sing? futures are obsolete:pasts are unborn (here less than nothing’s more than everything) death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

Yup, I saw it. It looked like it was going to be a night of submissions from the begining. I could not believe that Gracie didn't submit when Hughes had the arm bar on him, that is one tough proud guy. Hughes kept to his word though and plain beat him up. The sport has definately evolved beyond one trick ponies, Mixed Martial Arts is the future. -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

I think it would work fine. Slaton had spoke of using it for test jumping and competing to speed up or slow down openings. So, that would have been assuredly under Vectran lined Icarus canopies. I think I would have more apprehension about Dacron since of the stretching properties allows it to get sinched down tighter (especially when it is old). However, if this was used on old accuracy canopies it they probably had Dacron... FYI, I am well aware of the the deal breaker on a Velo. I've chopped a friend's when a slider grommet sinched down over a toggle with one brake out. I have also chopped mine afte a brake fire during opening. thanks, Jon death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

I am pretty sure that is what I was thinking of. It was a simple thing to make like this (not a wireman's, linesman's or advance scouting technique). thanks man, Jon death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

Actually, my buddy has a xaos 21 cell 135. It hasn't opened the same since his reline (searching and line twists). It has been back to Precision for them to check out (took several months) and they say it is okay. He has also been thoroughly ribbed about body position too. So I thought maybe a deeper brake setting would help on opening, but wanted to experiment with test jumps to find that setting before initiating surgery on the damn thing. I own a Velo 96 and I did raise the catseyes 2 inches (per buddy Joe Bennet) and it opens great now. I prefer the slow opening of the stock slider with deeper brakes. So stop talking about my sack that way, it is going to get a complex. -Jon death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

This is a crosspost from Swooping. I would like to here from some fellow riggers on this one too... Hey Folks, A couple of summers ago Jim Slaton showed me a knot to make a temp setting on a brake line for experimenting with settings for opening. Does anyone or Jim have instructions with photos for doing this? I have a friend that wants to experiment with deeper brake settings on opening to cure some searching his canopy does. Then I can run new catseyes where he wants them. thanks, Jon death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

Probably when Peschi gets wacked in Casino or when Norton has the guy bite the curb in American History X. Both are totally disturbing... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

HOW THE F#*% DO YOU GET A NEW ZP CANOPY IN THE D BAG?
MrHixxx replied to nikyboy's topic in Gear and Rigging
Yup, psychopack. I have a new Velocity that I am psychopacking. It looked at me like a church lady being dressed in stripper's clothes when I did it, but it opened fine and a tad slower (prefereable to me). You just have to be careful that you are not bring brakelines around the front of the canopy when you pull the tail around. I am uncurrent enough with propacking mains that the velo is unmanagable for me when I am at the dz trying to make a load. I may switch back to propacking after I have 50 jumps on it. You had me hooked until you said "it's got a groove to it unlike past Tool albums". I think Lateralus and Aenima are definately "mood" albums, a little more heady than primal. However, Undertow has definately got a primal groove through its entirety. If yer not picken up on that son, ya done got no mojo at all It packs a nice dark emotive vibe I dig it. This album is refreshing in that it takes you somewhere. It has a very emersive effect if you are allowing yourself to listen. I am so tired of 3 min aural hand jobs to meet the radio format. These guys definately have taken time and sincerity to produce a mature work with this one. I was happy to shell out a paultry ten bucks for this cd which is artistically worth more than the last 10 I've bought. I would like to see it in a celebrity death match with the last Dave Mathews album... Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

No blood in the head huh? Now there is a woman that I can take advantage of. Why not just say "I'm so drunk..." I saw the Angels at Kelleyadai's graduation from the Naval Academy. I was very cool. What was even cooler was going out to Fentress several years later in the middle of the night when she was doing mock carrier landings with The Fighting Black Lions of VF-213. We were sitting in a little booth in the middle of a field in the dark watching the marker lights then wham they appeared 50 ft away touching down and taking off at full power. I never knew that an F-14 was that big of a plane until one appeared out of the dark next to me at full power. You could feel it in your bones when it roared by. That was some remarkable shit... -Hixxx death,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
