  1. I think it's called Hartland Checks, if I'm not mistaken. It was one of the designs out of the book that the bank officer had when I opened our account. I get lots of compliments on them. I love anything tie dyed. I always say I missed my era
  2. I thought mine were cool. Mine are two different designs of tie dye.
  3. Yes dear. Like we told you Thursday, it's all about having your own gear and the money you save not having to rent right? We'll just call you "THE MAN"

LOL! Funny thing about southerners (which I am one) is how sheltered we are..I was b4 moving to Colorado. I could honestly say that I knew of only a 2 hour radius around Mobile and that's it. Didn't get out and travel throughout my own state, much less another state. Stayed up and down the coast...so I cracked up seeing your post as I wondered "where the hell is Pinson AL?!" Would you believe that I've never been to Birmingham either? Stayed in "L.A" and didn't venture north! LOL! I, too, am from Mobile, AL and until I started skydiving and going to boogies, I'd only been as far west as Louisana, as far north as Tennessee, as far east as Georgia and as far south as Florida (save the one 2 week ski trip I made to Colorado in my 10th grade year in highschool). I do have family as far north as Anniston, AL and I went to college in Jacksonville, AL (just north of Anniston) before I moved back home to Mobile. Yep, that's my "neck of the woods"(another Southernism I think ). I've lived in Florida now for 8 years and even Alabama is too cold for me
  5. Pink?... Pastel pink = Bad. Hot neon Pink = Badass color. *** It USED to be hot pink but now it's almost pastel (sorry Dave, I couldn't resist )

My Aubrey would've been Ansley Rae had he been a girl.
  7. Cool! We've got the Cessna 40-50 Ways goin on this weekend. It should be pretty cool to watch. Randy (towerrat) and I may get out there Sunday afternoon or evening. I'll be lookin for ya'll.
  8. The rig that I referred to that had to be reclosed looked perfectly fine when it was first packed. The gap didn't occur until after 2 or 3 jumps because the closing loop was too long.

on you like stink on shit *** AND on you like white on rice (white pronounced wh -long i- te and rice pronounced the same)
  10. Dude, the problem you've mentioned has nothing to do with the snaps which attach the pop top to the reserve pilot chute. The reserve closing loop is too long. The only time I've ever seen a gap like you're referring to was when someone closed the reserve tray wrong. Someone with more experience closing a Wings reserve pack job did reclosed it, and with a shorter closing loop, and now there is no gap at all. If it's closed properly, there should be NO gap. I've actually never thought about why the pop top is capped instead of sewn. I'm sure Henri has a good reason for it as he does for every feature on his containers.
  11. Even though I no longer work at Sunrise Rigging as of 5pm yesterday afternoon, I would still choose a Wings. I jumped Wings before I started working there and I'll continue to jump Wings throughout my skydiving career. I stand behind that statement even more so since I worked there and understand more about how they're built. I'm not saying that all the other containers are not built as well because I'm sure they are. Sunrise Rigging works very hard to keep it's delivery time in check and they will always support their product for as long as you own your container. The design of the Wings container has always fit my body just right. Wings continues to be one of the most affordable containers on the market and provides superior quality for it's price. Wings is still new to some riggers but it's split reserve free bag is made to be rigger friendly and I would prefer non other than a Wings reserve pilot chute on my back.
  12. Kramer, that's Kimmy. I mentioned her name in when I replied to her goofus

    Happy Dance

I have had RoadRunner since we got our first computer about a year ago. We had to due to the fact that we don't have a land line so luckily I've never had to experience dial up frustrations (thank God, patience is not always my best virtue).
  16. At least your glass is half full instead of half empty and that spray bottle to spray the cat sounds entertaining if nothin else. Gotta do somethin if we don't have an office don't we
  17. I don't have an office any more either but I've got a way cool lava lamp sittin right here by my home PC
  18. Nice Avatar Kimmy . Yea, didn't we walk from the bunker to the trailor? That was far huh? Maybe it was the fire, hell I can't remember.
  19. I've been to the wind tunnel at SkyVenture in Orlando Florida. I think it's a useful training tool. I have a hard time spending money on it though. It cost almost $400 for 30 minutes if that helps with anything. It's $25 - $30 for 3 minutes I think. It's alot of fun but it basically makes me jones to go skydiving.
  20. Ooohhh. Now I remember. I got mine on the back deck, didn't I?

Aubrey, and that's a boy or a girl name. I prefer it for a boy though.
  22. Now it seems that I remember something about jello shots . When I woke up NY Day, there was a melted jello shot on the counter and I couldn't for the life of me remember where I got it. Where were you giving out the jello shots??
