The ninja is definately out there. Christophe from PdeF was at the Langar Boogie in May with a whole load of canopies/rigs to demo, amongst them was the Ninja 97 (I think). Not being a skygodlet, I stuck with the Springo and Electra, but there were favourable reports from those that did jump the Ninja. That's all I know. It's definately being produced and sold. B.

Em, Go to your control panel (back of your head). Open it up, press "Edit Personal Information". Two thirds of the way down the screen is a box for you to put the URL of your picture. ie. www.emmaisfat.com/fattyemma.jpg or any such b-lox! Zennie, I have the same dilemma. I try to mix the jumps, but the trouble is, if you start doing 4 way on the saturday and you do a few jumps, then you're pretty much gonna be with them all weekend. I tend to do a day of RW, realise I've had enough of that for the weekend and then freefly on the Sunday to just chill out and fun jump. It's funny but RW is like work and FF is the fun part to relax! I love both, but trying to get a balance is difficult when both types of flyers are asking you to jump with them. If I've done some good 4 way one weekend, then wanting to do FF on the next saturday, I have to turn them down. They then get someone else in their 4 way, so you're stuck doing FF all weekend! It's difficult, you're right! I've not found the right balance yet.... B. Then again, I could be making it all up. I'm really a spotty youth, trolling you all from my parents computer, when I should be in bed.....

Emma, This is the way that I see the reason behind this atrocity. For many years, the terrorist groups have been calling for Jihad on the people of the west, but so far it's been limited to terrorist attacks without the mainstream support of the people. Whoever is behind this, in my opinion, is definately trying to mobilise the whole Muslim world against the west. THAT is a very scary thought. These people have it hard, they see death and suffering everyday of their lives. We don't. This whole situation is going to need really careful handling if we aren't going to plunge into another world war - one based on religion and belief.... Now that would NOT be a good thing, no matter how much people want swift revenge. A heavy handed, blanket attack isn't the way to go - in MY book. Let's hope things can be sorted out without a religous war. B.

In the UK, if you mention that you skydive, the blood donation clinics etc won't take blood from you - for your own safety. I'm pretty sure the BPA recommend not giving blood if you are a skydiver, it might even be a rule (not absolutly sure though...). B.

Spectre, Here I think, we are talking about freeflying, not high speed exits. The possibility of haveing your pin knocked by someone in freefall is a far higher risk than when doing RW or high altitude exits. I think the idea is that somone bashing the bottom of your container on a pass is less likely to knock out two lengths of kevlar line than a small curved closing pin. Doesn't mean the kevlar can't get kinked though.... B.
