Guns aren't the problem - people are, period. My guns are nothing but mere paperweights unless someone picks them up and pull the trigger. People problems......not gun problems.

Luna is a wonderful person who doesn't give herself enough credit and is hard on herself. No one at the DZ has a problem jumping with her. Our DZ and its instructors are second to none IMNSOH. I can attest that these people aren't as generous as you may think. I'm doing C-2 for the 5th time.....I'm not spinning anymore, I just have a very, very slow turn.............and am stable w/o need of JM docking on me at pulltime. This still isn't cutting it at the DZ so pray tell who is generous? Jim & his crew rocks!

I still get scared shitless..........want to turn around and go home before I reach the DZ almost everytime. People notice my nervousness as I'm gearing up. When the door is open, I swear my nutsack goes up to my throat and when someone says "door" - I can't explain how I feel. I can tell you, however, once I exit - the world is mine - I feel free........no nervousness nor fear. If either one's nervousness or fear isn't "dehabiliting", I think its good - keeps you alive in the long run - IMO.

Luna - thanks for the words of encouragment as your words do mean a lot to us who are having problems......................... It sounds to me you will be buying beer soon! Congrats!

I agree with you man. Although I retired from the Army in 1999, I want to be put back on active duty. I hate death - period - it's ugly on both sides - but that place needs to be turned into a huge ashtray.

Thanks everyone..............I guess I'm getting soft in my old (LOL) age and feeling bad for what he may face from the Marines. I'm pretty proud of my son.....he took this thing so cool.....almost as if nothing happened. All these years working with him has paid off in his poise, confidence, maturity and control........love him to death. Again, thanks...now I'm confident that I did the right thing.
