Sugarglider is Go

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I ordered my sugarglider today. I know it is sick to have so many suits but I couldnt help myself. The guys were great in helping me pick colours & design. I am waiting for a final delivery date but it looks like less than 3 weeks.

Cheers,

Simon

It is extremely beneficial to your health to have as many suits as possible . Congratulations on your new suit.

Hopefully, I will get to fly an SG someday.

Kris.

Also, does anyone out there have any glide ratio data for these suits yet?

Not yet- apart from the anecdotal stuff that we have all heard. When I get my suit I will do some tests + hook up my gps to some other flyers so expect some info in the next month or two.

Don't forget to hit the gym as well. I flew my suits last weekend after a long break and my arms got really tired. The SG with the wing running from the arm to the outside of the ankle must need more strength to fly to its max possible performance.

My first impressions when jumping the SG feels like you're driving a 68 charger with a 440

Thats a pretty weird impression for only jumping it once!
And with a fabulous spinning out of control exit! :P

And BTW, only people our age know what kinda car that is.....[:/]:P:D

Possibly?

But work on the tips I gave you when we landed.
Watch the plane as you exit and make it more of a hop, not a spin. :)

Yes they can.;)

Your impression was what it was like driving one, and you can't get that from looking it up! :S:P

yeah thats a very good tip if Im jumping on my underwear, however on a first jump with an SG with that much fabric I wont take any chances, my objective was to clear the aircraft , I dont care if I have to roll my ass out first. or whatever,
besides the door on that airplane was too narrow.

I never said to open your wings... :S

Keeping your arms in the way you were was fine, just work on your side hop and look up until you have cleared the horizontal stabilizer. ;)

The King Air door is plenty big for someone to side step out of. ;)

Not sure how old you are but I am guessing I am still one of the young ones at 21 and I definately know what kind of car that is and what it is like to drive one. Oh and for those not in the know on classic muscle cars if you have ever seen the tv show dukes of hazard it was the general lee only a year older :P
