I think we left it as the micro-analysis of the water flow doesn't matter. i.e. assume it's whatever you like for whatever scenario you want.

All that matters is resolving this "how did the money move" and "did it move multiple times" and "did it move after '74"

I think since there are plenty of scenarios that end with "possibly", then that money movement discussion has been played out. There's nothing left there.

I thought we had discussed actually everything possible.
This recent thing of not accepting the flight path, or the 1980 science around the money and clay layer...kind of just means we're back were everything started two years ago.

Don't know anything.
No reliable data.
Could be anyone.
Could be dead or alive.

(edit) Hell, I'm not even sure about NB6 vs NB8 or hard pull or not!

Jo, please write your life story. Just like you tell it here.

Bitten on the neck after Hurricane Ivan and now you call it Duane the Bat, and you're taking rabies shots, too. It's all so good. So fresh, unique and authentic.

"Vampire Love Lasts Forever" - that's your title!!!!

Okay, so you can't place Duane on the plane or in a chute, just yet. So what! You've got a great story, and you're part of it, and so is your telling of it.

Will Ckret love it? Hardly. Will he revamp the FBI because of it. Well, miracles do happen....

C'mon, take your book deals and your movie deals and buy us all a plane tix to celebrate with you in Hawaii, or Florida, etc. Or hell - Clark County, Washington. But not Ariel; their Tavern gives me the creeps.

.....in the meantime, pass me another pina colada, will you sweetie.

I just want the clay layer report and all those color photos I saw of the money dig on TV.

If we can validate the clay layer science from 1980, that would be huge. We know they did that science.

I think we also know they did some science on the money itself. There must be another report. (not just a geologist offering opinions on money decomposition)

And let's validate the flight path. Regardless of what Tom said about the money, he was going after the flight path also, since he asked about the flight recorder.

We may have to do the night jump from helis down air shafts on the FBI building instead. I've done the research: no alarms in the ventilation shafts.

They actually share their building with other offices, from what I can tell? Maybe we need to open a fake office in the building.

Why not just review the science from 1980 first? Why do we need new science before we understand the old science?

Safe told us "Believe and you shall see the light"
I want to believe.
Duane told us "And it shall die with me, and ye shall have peace"

Yes to most of that.

People should not expect too much from the Peer Reviewed Scientific Study. As good as it will (hopefully) be, it'll likely just be more stuff to ponder.

Infiltrating the FBI offices might be more enlightening.....

We had the man inside. The whole friggin plan just blew up in our face, now we have to throw money and lawyers at it, cover our asses, retrench and plan a new attack.

Sluggo was right. We should have went nuclear from day one.

Snow,

Go to plan B, the one the Scientologists used to infiltrate the IRS. Get gorgeous women to apply for FBI file clerk jobs. They are always hired, trust me.

Back in the late 60s I had a girlfriend who got a job at the FBI. She was not the best typist applicant but I am sure she was the best looking one.

She would talk freely during evening about the wiretap tapes she had transcribed earlier that day. Fascinating stuff.

So we hire a model or maybe even an aspiring pornstar. The FBI hires her and we resume the operation. If she flirts enough with Ckret, who knows what will develop?

You in?

The Washougal river rises and falls verry rapidly one of the quickest in the US this and other rivers west of Boneville Dam also causess the columbia river to rapidly rise and drop .The columbia river is a tidal river controlled by the amount of flow into the pacific ocean as we all know oceans are controleld by tides, Gravity, This coupeled by rapid rainfall on a daily basis and temperture fluctuations and snow melt is also a large contributing factor. On the lighter side the weather man is very seldom right. Mother nature also has her wrath.

Hey Jerry,
I researched Ckret's time in the FBI and his resume.
I don't mind giving people respect, but why is he the best in his field? I don't think you have any data on that.

How come everyone wants to tout all this dramatic background, which when you look at it, is just typical? (and I'm not just talking about Ckret)

Ckret is typical agent as far as I can tell.
See once any organization gets big enough, the Poisson distribution rules.

Nothing wrong with that, but I'm not going to bend over and worship without some more?

Because if you worship everyone, then everyone is God, and we lose sight of what real greatness is. (and people brag about bullshit).

There can only be a handful of greats by definition. What's wrong with just saying "I'm typical?" Then we cut Ckret some slack because he's just acting like a normal working joe, trying his best.

(edit) I know I sound like an ass with this post, but I've said it before. Everyone here is great in their own niche. But what matters is being great in this little forum. So it all depends on what you do in this forum. Not what you do in other places.

Hey you are funny.
What was your wife's phone number again?

Oh and remember you have to go on that long drive to get that rain data...what'll it take, a day or so?
(edit) I think the image is all computer generated. Hey that reminds me, here's my computer generated image of Cooper as an old man. I'll make that my avatar.

And go check out this vid we got from Cooper around christmas:
Spooky! I mean, it sure sounds like Cooper is still alive!

says Snow.

So what would it take Snow? The bending over might be too risky, especially since some of the FBI diversity program new hire SAs will misinterpret your naked backside avatar, but what is your price for worshiping the FBI?

Would a Cooper twenty suffice?

More you say?

How about Carr making a night jump over the Washougal from the Perris DC 9 using an NB8 harness container and 28 ft C9 assembled and packed by Nitro, with an exit point selected by Jerry, would that turn you?

Come on, asking Tina to come out of the convent, put on a stew uniform and light Carr's cigarettes is downright unreasonable. Have a heart. The girl has been through enough.

(edit) Snow just contacted me. He will drop Tina but the rig has to be a non extended NB6 with a 32 foot T 10 canopy. He also wants to push Larry out.

All people can seem typical but it has been my experience in life that they are not and most are very complicated . Take you or my self for instance we are not fitted in that catagory.( i know your comback will be either I don't no you so how can I judge or don't catagorize me or somthing to that efect.) or is any one else. everyone comes from different backgrounds. Which bring's up a major point what back ground could someone come from to commit a mager crime like cooper did? What possesed him to do what He did ? Put life and limb on line to disregard the facts of nature, and last but not least try to defy reality. There is one thing that we all should think about and that is murphys law What coud have gone wrong from the time he got the money untill the time he left the plane. Did he trip and fall unexectedly and grab for a hand hold and grab the placard which caused it to fly out.Or did he get hung up on the stairs The questions go on. These are questions that should be asked but can't be answered. However they seem to be avoided. Anything can be possible or changed by fate. There is one fact. The man was very different.

I can picture it. But if I got you guys pegged right, Nitro will have done another deal with Hooper for beer money, and we'll never see poor Larry again.

And then there will be another thread: "D.B. Larry: Did he survive?"

McCoy was a perfect Cooper. It would have been so easy for the FBI to close both cases on McCoy's death, but they didn't take the easy way out.

377 Your right. However the evidence did not match both crimes.I also studied both crimes when I first learned of Mcoy's death. I was also contacted by the Retired FBI agent that wrote the book on McCoy and his relation to the cooper case. He tried to make some of the evidence like the tie clasp and other items match both crimes. However it was impossible to do so I've been contacted by many has beens claiming to know something about the case some wanted to have there phone bills paid for some wanted free flights to portland and some just wanted money so they could travel to either washington or oregon to drive around and find locations to make a story fit for there own quest to become famous and write a book .If I had to count all the people that tried to convience myself and the media that they knew who cooper was it would be in the hundreds.

In short, it will be interesting after publication, as to whether we can even see Tom's paper without paying.

Well, if Tom doesn't share it with us I'm sure we can afford it if we all club together. (That will be a not-so-exclusive, secret club ;))

Edited to add: holes in the money - accidental nibbles by the crawfish? :P

WHY even bother to have examined the money at all and have spent all of that money for this expedition? The above statements by Tom Kaye seems ludicrous if you think about it in light of Tom Kaye's own statements.

What was this "Dream Team" in Vancouver there for?

Presumably chasing after some strand of their usual specialization. As far as I am aware, Tom never claimed to be analyzing every last fact pertaining to the money as a means to solving the DB Cooper case.

Crikey, no wonder relevant posters feel unwelcome here. Georger may not always say it in the kindest ways, but he has made some very good points about how certain posters tend to try push everything in one direction.

Georger- Vat! You rootin' for da Nedderelanz basaboll team, too!

You rock!

nicht, Orange1 ist!

LOL - you people. Talk in German accents and think you are talking about the Dutch! Ich spreche ein bischen Deutsch, aber ...i don't really speak Dutch but I can understand it very well. I can't transcribe the beautiful lilting Dutch accent to paper (screen), but it does not sound like Georger's rip-off of Freud :D. Alstublieft!

Incidentally most people outside the US don't care very much about baseball :) I was in ansterdam during the Eufa cup (do you guys even know what that is??) last year when Holland was playing ..um Russia i think it was ... the whole city was orange and so was everyone in it. Completely festive.

America: baseball, basketball and american football
The rest of the old English colonies: cricket and rugby
Just about the entire world outside america, including the ex GB colonies: football (soccer)]
