lekstrom10k 0 #4 January 21, 2007 Seems to me he was in two movies. . He was a bar tender in one with 5 or 6 words.Something about using his LAKE [sea-plane] clinched the deal. Cutaway he had a family near a tent Dont remember the words spoken though. Kind of like Hitchcock movies to use his gear.
AggieDave 6 #5 January 22, 2007 QuoteCutaway he had a family near a tent Dont remember the words spoken though. It was something about "whuffo." Whats great is what rig that Bill Booth puts over his shoulder in that scene. If I remember correctly it was a reflex or talon.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

skydiverek 56 #7 January 22, 2007 He was in 3 movies (he told me that personally): 1. The Firm (the seaplane pilot, says one word: "Hello" 2. Cutaway (says "Wuffo"), 3. Dropzone (he is only shown in the longer, uncut version). Bill also told me he gets paid like $16 everytime the movies is played.
lekstrom10k 0 #8 January 22, 2007 The way I got he would let them use his LAKE in DZ if they gave him a part. I unfortunately have the movies , His line as bartender was repeating the drink order.

DougH 270 #10 January 22, 2007 That probably only earned him 48 dollars this year. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Hmmm, could be wrong but I seem to remeber it as an "Eclipse" tandem rig, which was pretty much a poorly done rip off of a Vector.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Ok, its been a while since I've seen the movie, so you are probably right about the rig. Yeah, I've lucked out and didn't end up jumping any of the Eclipse rigs at a TX DZ I was visiting a few years ago when I was helping with tandems. Luckily they kept me in Sigma and Vector tandem rigs all day long.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
