rickfri59 0 #1 March 2, 2003 Has there been any activity @ Pepperel, MA or Skydive New England since the snow started piling up @ Christmas time?? Man the weather sucks and I'm too itchy.
howardwhite 5 #2 March 2, 2003 Pepperell's runway is still clogged, but there were four Cessna loads to the snow ceiling (5k) at Jumptown Orange MA Saturday. Three Otters and a Caravan parked 10 minutes away if the weather breaks. Orange is a municipal airport and generally plowed pretty quickly. HW
JDBoston 0 #3 March 2, 2003 We were doing Otter loads at Orange in December... I didn't go at all in January but I'm sure they got a few up then as well. Joe
Emmie 0 #4 March 2, 2003 Is it me, or is this like the longest winter we ever had? As much as I hate the cold I am contemplating making it out to Orange and making a jump just to remind myself what skydiving feels like.
ianmdrennan 2 #5 March 2, 2003 Orange did 2 loads that I know of yesterday. Me...well...I'll wait for it to warm up a bit. See you @ safety day. IanPerformance Designs Factory Team
Iflyme 0 #6 March 4, 2003 The "real" northeast??? Check the atlas ... there's an entire country north of you! But here on the west coast of Canada, it's like spring! Canopies are in the air!
Remster 26 #7 March 4, 2003 STFU!!!! I know what the real north east is..... damm -20 again this AM..... and another 15cm of snow on its way in the next 24h..... grrrrrrr You west coast bums are getting annoying.... Remster
nacmacfeegle 0 #8 March 4, 2003 Sorry to hear it Rem, its is merely damp over here right now. flyhi 24 #10 March 4, 2003 QuoteIs it me, or is this like the longest winter we ever had? Winter of '78 was pretty long. Winter of '96 sucked. I would put it third.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.
