"Parachutist" cover ink

Recommended Posts

Reading "Parachutist" tonight, I noticed the cover getting sticky. On investigation, it seems the ink was coming off on my fingers. Then I wiped the cover with a damp cloth, and lots more of the ink just came off leaving big white patches.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Printing ink can be compromised by the oil in a person's skin. Also, ink remains tacky for a period of time after it is printed on the paper. This can vary with the type of paper used and weather conditions, especially high humidity.

High humidity is not a feature of Chicago weather in February.:|

(gets out his neuralizer) Sorry, but you weren't supposed to figure that out. (FLASH!)

I usually get mine like that - damn postman is always ruining the cover of my magazine.
