skypapa 0 #2 November 21, 2007 QuoteDoes anyone know where i can order custom print pull up cords for our DZ? Thanks!! It's funny you mention this. I was actually putting thought into producing a large quantity of cords with 1800skyride printed on them. If I do it do you want me to let you know so you can perhaps get some from me? jdthomas 0 #5 November 21, 2007 Neil did some work for our wedding pull up cords and he does great work, the turn around time was also good. I would recomend him. Joewww.greenboxphotography.com
BIGUN 1,053 #6 November 21, 2007 Joe sent me a few of the wedding pull-up cords. I can attest to Joe's source for pull-up cords being of high quality.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
SansSuit 1 #7 November 22, 2007 OK, just curious. What DO pull up cords cost? Are they like pennies a piece? 50 cents? A dollar a shot? I know it would depend on quantity, but I'm just looking for a rough idea. (Hey, I just noticed, there is no "cents sign" on the computer keyboard! There was one on my typewriter. Where did it go? What replaced it? The dollar sign is still there. Hmmmm.) ZigZagMarquis 8 #11 November 22, 2007 Quote ...some people must take them home and hord them... Hey! That's a hidden dig at me! At least I occassionally go through my house, gather up all the pull-up cords that have "migrated" home with me, tie them to my gear bag and take them back to the DZ. Anyway... lets have some Math Fun! You can get a roll of 3/4" Binding Tape from Para Gear at $35.64 for a 72 Yard Roll. 72 Yards = 216 ft = 2592 inches Say a pull up cord is 29 inches long. How many pull up cords can you get out of a 72 Yard roll and how much would each cost? 89 @ 40 cents ea. Obviously, one needs to find a cheaper supply of binding tape than Para Gear...
