As with any politician, actions speak louder than words. If you want to research Mike Pence, you might want to see how he votes on issues.

He hates President Obama and LGBTQ.
He passed a law supporting discrimination.
His attempt at a government news organization reeked of Communist control of media.
He's repeatedly tried to block the resettling of immigrants in his state.

He's a perfect fit for the party of hate.

Ya, he's a bad guy because he tries to control the media unlike our current POTUS. Oh wait... never mind. "So how is it that 38 major journalistic organizations have signed on to a letter to the White House complaining about the way the Administration has twisted and manipulated the news?"

And how dare that Pence guy not want to permit Middle Eastern refugees in his state when they weren't vetted by the State Department, Homeland Security or ICE.

No. Pretty much any political blogging site with the words, "examiner.com" in it is simply composed of articles written for click bait and political spin. Virtually anyone can be an "examiner.com" writer. It doesn't mean they're journalists. It specifically doesn't mean they have to be accurate or unbiased in any way, shape, or form.

Perhaps this will lend a helping hand to the naïve and mentally challenged.

>I could have sworn we were discussing Gov. Pence.

To get back to that, comment on this from the White House spokesperson after being asked about it:

"I know that Gov. Pence did do some important work with the administration to expand Medicaid in his state. That’s something President Obama has been encouraging Democratic and Republican governors across the country to do." When asked if he thought Pence would make a good VP, he said he would "leave it to the individual candidates to determine who they believe would best complement their skills and could lead their party."
