I understand that things are a bit tense down in the lone star state, with the imminent invasion, who wouldn't be a little jumpy? http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/04/politics/pentagon-texas-jade-helm-15-takeover/

If shots had been fired you think some here would say well hell ya! They should have known and not incited a riot? They got what they knew would be coming? Really?? rushmc 18 #105 May 6, 2015 DanGYes, really. How do you think the conversation would be different? Nothing would be said about the artist insulting christians All the blame would be placed on the radical christian shooter Just as it should be for the radical shooter in TX"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Nothing would be said about the artist insulting christians As I recall, a GREAT DEAL was said about the artist insulting Christians. I also recall than "The Life of Brian" was banned in a number of places.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

I also recall than "The Life of Brian" was banned in a number of places. I consider myself a Christian who doesn't always follow the 10 commandments. I'm just an imperfect Christian like all the others in that religion, but I think that movie is one of the funniest and greatest works of art that the Monty Python group ever made. See? I don't care what other people say. If they insult the Christian religion or Christ or whatever, that's between them and God. That's who they'll end up answering to on their day of judgment. Now.... somebody said earlier in response to a post I made about this attack being inspired by ISIS, that it was a bunch of hokey or something. I'm not going back up to re-read it. Take a look at this article. One of the gunmen (Simpson), had been in contact with IS supporters. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/texas-gunmans-mother-he-just-had-a-normal-american-upbringing/ar-BBjeUWW So there you have it. Home-grown jihadists are around us just waiting for their inspiration to strike. The FBI can't keep up with all of them. There will be no addressing the customers as "Bitches", "Morons" or "Retards"! wmw999 2,123 #108 May 6, 2015 You thought it was funny; others thought it was incredibly disrespectful. But most Americans, being familiar with the cultural context, see that as individual differences. One Muslim sees Mohammed cartoons as funny; another as offensive. Since most of us don't have as much cultural context, we ascribe to all Muslims the behavior that's more visible. What's interesting is that Garland has an active Muslim community, with a mosque and imam etc. They decided as a group to stay away and not protest or anything. But no one noticed that, did they?
