I half expected this to be a rant about the "Merry Christmas" vs "Happy Holidays" argument that happens often this time of year. (and it is SC after all, so here goes...)

I was discussing this with a liquor store clerk the other night (she's in a masters program for some sort of studies of religion). When we came upon the same sentiment.

Why would anyone be upset at someone for wishing them well during this season of many holidays?? ... idiots ...

Jealous...its cold as shit in Denver.

But yea, this is in SC. Happy solstice, merry Christmas, happy holidays, seasons greetings, its all a warm gesture in my opinion, don't care who you do/don't worship, do/don't celebrate. I just hate those people that freak out when you use one or the other...kinda like throwing a toddler tantrum when you say "bless you" when someone sneezes.
