Mine didn't change. Premium rose $40 a month

Yours DID change.

Mine also changed. Price went up and the services went down. UPS employees lost the ability to sponsor a spouse.

So things DID change.

And I suppose services and premiums had never changed in the previous, say, 25 years.

Nice selective edit.

Instead of answering your question, I will ask you to go back and copy the actual context.

Everyone keeps forgetting:

Co-pay per visit
Deductibles
Out of pocket
Percentage of coverage (a lot of medical bills will be 80/20)
Don't miss the double the prices for cigarette smokers either.

This isn't "affordable" per se IMO.

Mark,

You might double-check me on this, but what I read about the Bronze plan is that it's 60/40.
And while an HMO, my experience with them was a little added issue of - Out-of-plan.

Like when the Doctor sends your bio work to a lab while you're unconscious, because he's a part owner in said lab...
The HMO doesn't pay and you owe 100%
Interestingly enough, when you have your attorney call to dispute the bill.. it gets waived.
Nice try, Doc
Didn't think I'd find out about the whole part ownership thing, did ya?
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

> Here, insurance agents must have a license and take 24 hours of continuing education
>every other year. Selling insurance through these exchanges leaves insurance sales
>people out in the cold. Pretty amazing the state insurance commissioners allow this.

Cool, another layer of complexity and expense removed. Fewer salesmen = cheaper health insurance.

>I think they're collecting data to solicit for votes for next election.

If obamacare is as hated as GOPers claim, it should be easy for the GOP to sweep the next election. Just claim "I am against Obamacare!" and they will easily win a majority and be able to cancel it.

OBAMA might eliminate stock brokers, car dealers, too, then stock and cars will be cheaper...............OH you are so wrong.

7 people in Louisiana signed up to OBAMAcare and MD website cratered, so it will self destruct on it own. Half the states were smart enough not to take the money to built an IT progtsm but let the Feds do it. Those states were smart.
BV you need to pay more taxes to pay for all this. Really. In MD THEY TOLD A GUY HE COULD SIGN UP USING A PAPER FORM IN THE MEDICAL OFFICE AS HE DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET.
Obama had no clue who the client base would be: people without Internet access yet they built online marketplaces... DOH. Stupid Dumb.

Take that up with HIM. He said they did not change, then mentioned it going up 40 bucks.

No need... you said they didn't change and then showed how it went up.

Pretty easy to see you are either:

1. Wrong.
2. Lying.

PA's should not be part of your approach here big guy.

If the dishonesty boot fits. He should wear it.

"Call your insurance company and ask them why your policy is changing.

You also avoided the premium question. What was the coverage and premium before, without that, how could anyone make a valid comparison of the two? If your policy is the same and just the premium increased. Yep, that isn't news to anyone....

Mine didn't change. Premium rose $40 a month,"

There is the context he called me a liar about.

I don't think I am the one being dishonest.

NO, you are being intellectually dishonest in selective snipping.

The original (snipped selectively by YOU) question from skydekker was:

"What was your coverage and payment before? " (Post #98, this thread)

His reply clearly indicated that his coverage didn't change but his premium went up.

I doubt it. Haven't seen any "affordable stock acts" come through.

I do.

>bama had no clue who the client base would be: people without Internet access yet
>they built online marketplaces..

How stupid of them to not allow people to sign up via paper forms!

Wait. Didn't you yourself just post:

"IN MD THEY TOLD A GUY HE COULD SIGN UP USING A PAPER FORM IN THE MEDICAL OFFICE AS HE DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET."

Looks like they thought of that.

Blaming someone's parents because that person doesn't agree with you is real classy.
Oops...sorry, forgot where I was there for a second.

Fair point.

It should have said 'possibly' not 'probably'

I apologize to his parents.

But I don't claim he is dishonest because he has an opposite opinion. I claimed it because he clearly misquoted me intentionally, and then insinuated I was lying about what I said.

So you admit that any Affordable Whatever Act is in place to eliminate the "whatever" in the case of ACA - it is the private insurance companies that he wants deleted.

If that is the case - why don't we nationalize auto insurance?

Single payer system for All insurance.

No, you simply edited out the context because you are dishonest, and probably raised improperly as a child.

My coverage did not change.

That was the context of the conversation.

Ah, how cute....Look personal attacks..... That the best you have?

You either were wrong or lied when you said it didn't change. Which was it?

No. Did my post really go in your crazy-straw worldview and come out as the above?
