Even if he's found not guilty of this murder it's only a matter of time before he kills again.

??? Are you serious?

If he gets away with his first murder he'll go for a second.

How did you come to this conclusion?

That's how serial killers operate.

Yeah, he's already up to "1". (Hey ...even Ted Bundy had to start somewhere.) :S

The next time his 'self defence' alibi will be even easier as everyone would expect him to be attacked. He'll be paranoid and well armed. He'll still have a thing about black guys. He'll have a sense of grievance about the time he's spent in prison but elation that he's finally got away with it. Just a little patience and he can make sure he gets himself into a situation where he can bait and murder again. He'll also almost certainly escalate to a double or triple murder just to show how 'outnumbered' he was.

OK, I think you win for most vivid imagination in this thread.

SYG hearing requested

Just part of due process, legal heads are saying they expect this to be successful.
If not, then the laundry list of due process errors come into play unless trial gets scheduled first, then they become key in appeals processes.

Must be a real bitch to not be able to work and still need a half mill to defend yourself.

American legal system is THE best system money can buy. ;)

4-5 days later he says he wont (just goggled it). So, not sure which it is at this point.
You stop breathing for a few minutes and everyone jumps to conclusions.

while he comes out of this better than the deceased, he's hardly getting away with it. Only a moron would consider spending the past 6 months in hiding and in and out of jail, charged with 2nd degree murder, your wife harassed by the DA, as getting away with it and something to experience again.

Juries DO decide the facts in disputed criminal and civil cases.

You say that like you honestly believe it.
Rather naive.

Juries have no clue what the real "facts"are. They only have access to what the legal system allows them to hear...and you would be silly to assume that they would hear the complete truth.
My reality and yours are quite different.

No
You said a court decides

Nope. I wrote that a JURY decides facts.

That's why a jury is called "decider of fact".

Example.

Now try to recall your civics classes.

Well, John.
Read your own reference. I says, "...it is the responsibility of the jury -- not the court -- to decide what conclusions should be drawn from evidence admitted at trial."

That has nothing to do with "facts".

Shot yourself in the foot. Hmmmm...maybe "shot" was a bad choice of words.

Oh, when do you report for your jail time jail for kicking the black kid? What? You're innocent? That's not what the jury said.
My reality and yours are quite different.

You're obviously not counting the ones who think he's innocent.

Yes, I am. And I've seen some pretty imaginative stuff in this thread. But turning Zimmerman into a serial killer tops them all.

Anyhow, I doubt that you're serious. But if you are, I'll just leave you to your opinion.

>can't he be a latent serial killer then?

It's the only possible explanation. (Of course, he did kill Trayvon Martin, thus ending THAT serial killer's spree before it ever began.)

Hah!
Provoking a reaction isn't the same thing as saying something meaningful.

We all know that serial killers are white not black.

but we also know blacks are far more likely to commit murder. And we've already covered how they're latent serial murderers. So you're hiding behind an arbitrary definition.

Now you're thinking like Zimmerman.

No, just citing the DoJ, rather than making shit up like you do.

So, according to Zimmerman's logic, Trayvon was black so about to murder him. That's why he had to shoot first.
