What about the Arab countries or emirates in which are very affluent? Do you think we should allow them to live like that? Many of the countries you mention have vast amounts of natural resources. Those resources are being sold to the west by those that create the oppression and do not filter down the profits to the rest of society. Dubai is a classic example of what the Arab world could look like, if we had a balance on the distribution of wealth relative to the geographical position of the resources initial position. Unfortunately that is not how it works at present; often the places with the most wealth in natural resources will have the most oppression in society.
