Hmmm...

I doubt that this case is going to be "Black & White"... But then again neither is Michael Jackson!:D:ph34r:

Personally, I would have concerns about a complete stranger who liked my kids so much he bought me a car! I certainly wouldn't be allowing my kids to go away unsupervised with someone just because he's famous & "rich".

Anyway, based on what I've seen so far, I'm grateful that I live in Scotland. We have a "Not Proven" verdict.

Yep. We've got the same. But , there still is something else especially in US trials:

The more money you have, the longer you can stand that thing, the longer you're able to pay your pettifogging lawyers, and finally: You will win. Comme d'habitude: A question of money and the longest breath.

If MJ is guilty or not: He will leave the court room beeing a free man. Perhaps he will drop few million $$$, who cares?

There were others walking away just like that. Money rules.

The moment MichaelTHeNose is leaving the court room as a free man, his monkey music, sorry: his CDs will be the absolute runner and on top of the charts.

Let it be.

Hell, with all the surgery he's had, I'm not sure he can be classified as human, much less black or white.:P

If I had kids, I wouldn't either, especially given the history of his conduct with children.

I'm not sure that he did buy anyone a car, but I think I heard that during the show about him a while back. I think got them a car, as well as helped them with medical expenses (I think the kid was sick).

I'm interested to see how the trial will turn out, as I don't think either side has a really good case. Honestly, I think it will eventually be dismissed only to be followed by a massive civil suit.:S

I think you are wrong about this one. I think the DA probably went out of their way to prepare a strong case and will present a lot of evidence. There are multiple charges pending against him, and he'll be found guilty on at least some of them, if not all of them.

Guilty or innocent, jail or no jail his CD sales will go up.

I don't even want to comment on the term "monkey music"- that's beyond offensive.

Would you pls let me know what DA means (DA analysis?) Or CD? Just don't know as I am an alien.
Thx a lot in advance.

Hey! Stop bad-mouthing our courts! I'm proud to live in a country where we have the finest justice money can buy!

Guilty & Stupid as are the parents.
Only question is which is more guilty.

MJ who prbably can't help himself?

Or the parents who probably rubbed thier hands together thinking of the cash they might extort?

It can be proven that he has porn on his computer, me too. A lot of people have legal porn.

He gave alchohol to a minor. That can be proven and is illegal, but not a huge deal.

The DA must prove that the alchohol was given to the minor with intent. Unless someone testifies to their intent, it is almost impossible to prove.

He could be convicted of minor crimes, but not the important ones.

I wish that someone would arrest the parents.

Yeah... We heard that the house search turned up a pic of an almost nude child on the front of a pack of Pampers Diapers!!!:S

Also, The DA has obtained a 4 minute videotape in which Michael Jackson repeatedly admits: "I'm Bad!":P

Evidence AND admission... What more could you want?:)

In reply to this, does anyone know what happened to Gary Glitters record sales after his incarceration for possessing child porn, I know he was tried and sentanced over here (the UK), but no-one plays his music anywhere any more as its considered very bad form.

I can't imagine his record sales are exactly booming at the moment, although I'm not sure when he was in the papers whether they rose or not.

I know of one lot of people who played Gary Glitter's music. See Gary was put in Horfield Prison in Bristol... that's a few miles away from my home... just down the road from the pub I call my local.

It was well known round here that on Gary's first night in the clink the whole prison sang "you wanna be in my cell, my cell, my cell, you wanna be in my cell, my celllll?"

after doing some googling about on this, I've seen that the only place where his music appears to have been played recently is on a certain US presidential camaign (twice in 4 years!) :S

but other than that, he seems to have totally disappeared, other than keeping on getting booted out of Cambodia.
