Until they are old enough, it is my job as a parent to guide them in the direction that I think is appropriate and is the best course of action. Ultimately, however, the desire to become a Christian isn't based on how much you know from the Bible. It comes from God. By the way, my eldest son recently made the decision to become a Christian and be baptized. I'm very proud of him. That decision came not only without any pushing on my part but with a great deal of skepticism. I guess because it took me until I was 28. After much questioning, however, I believe him and I've come to realize that he has much more insight than I gave him credit for. By the way, he's 9 1/2.
