airgord 1 #2 October 11, 2002 There were 8 or so cypres units that were being shipped out and were damagged in a train wreck a few months back and after they were salvaged they made it onto Ebay, The US cypres folks found out and talked to the seller and then they were pulled from the sale I believe. This might possibly be another, hopefully the cypres people will check the S/n.

skybytch 259 #4 October 11, 2002 If you're going to bid on it, be aware that it was due for an 8 year check and new batteries in February if the d.o.m. quoted is correct. This will mean spending around $250 on it before it can be installed in your rig. Once the 8 year check and batteries are done, it's only usable until early 2006. Considering what needs to be done to it, I wouldn't pay more than a couple hundred dollars max for it.
fudd 0 #5 October 11, 2002 Cypress value is easy... http://www.poxon.org/Craig/Skydive/Tools/CypresValuer.asp Since it needs another 4 year check and new batteries it seems like it worth about $98 There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

DJL 232 #7 October 11, 2002 Can that calculator be found anyplace other than that website. That's damn handy but who knows when "Craig" is going quit updating his site. You'd think Cypress would have something like that. -Doug"I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher
