Do you have a cellphone ?

Recommended Posts

I fought off the rush to get internet several years ago but eventually broke down about two years ago. The same thing with a cell phone. I fought off the urge, fought off the urge, then finally I broke down when my GF at the time pretty much made it pretty clear I needed one. Well I'm glad I have one now. I rarely use it as I almost always forget it in the car or at home, but I have one... I am one of those folks you will have to drag into the 21st century kicking and screaming:P

Last fall I finally got a cell phone and got my boss to pay for it. Officially the cell phone is so I can be on call to refuel visiting helicopters with Jet A, but U have gotten far more use out of it than my boss. I suspect that half the reason he gave me a cell phone is that a cell phone is cheaper than wiring the loft for a phone.

yep...i've had a cellphone for almost 3 years, and as ashamed as i am to say it, i don't think i could live without it. it is usually the most convenient and reasonable way for me to stay in touch with friends and family all around the country. i'll admit it...i love my phone :)

Are you sure that isn't a commercial?

>Whatever happened to the old fashion days of parents making their kids stay in the house.

When was that? Wasn't true when I was a kid, or when my parents were kids. I think kids have pretty much always been kids, and will run around no matter what bit of electronics they carry.

I was being fececious (SP) :P:P
Kids are just too far ahead of themselves today. If they spent more time at home getting to know their parents, this generation Y of our might not be so bad off.
Our young generation is aweful. Has cell phones and technology contributed? Perhaps. Let's hear your feedback.

Que sera sera
