yes. I am currently a second degree black belt in American Freestyle Tae Kwon do. I was an assistant instructor for three years till I went to college. Planning on attending the Nationals in Portland next month for my fourth time in a row. I am now considered an adult by the division ages, so wish me luck! Those women are brutal out there!

umm...kind of three-ish? I opted for the three tandems and then onto level four. Tae Kwon do was my first love, I am just getting into skydiving. So I will do my last tandem the week after finals. with any luck!

Issinryu? What kind of martial arts is that? Soft style? I have heard of it, but I don't think I have ever seen it practiced. that is cool, though, I love the martial arts!

New Jersey, eh? What is there to do in New jersey?

Dizzam! This is the first time I have successfully hijacked a thread! Go me! How much beer do I owe to whom? :P

Besides skydiving? there is a LOT to do here, fun everywhere.

You owe us 1 case of brew. :P

Practiced for 14 years Kung Fu. Actually was Bak Siulam Pai Kung Fu (Northern Traditional) but we also did a little of Wu Shu Kung Fu (Contemporary Kung Fu). Wu Shu is not for everyone, is extremely demanding physically and mentally. Represented my country (Puerto Rico) lots of time with lots of good results and rankings from the in National and International competitions.

Well geanky you know me, you know that sometimes (and still) I do some of that at the DZ.

Saludos! (Greetings!) B|

[little known fact about me] former brown belt in Western Tae Kwon Do[/little known fact about me]

Had fun for a while - until I realised that the little 10 year olds that didn't have ligament contraints were getting upgraded faster and given more priveleges because they do jump splits and actually - S-P-L-I-T - their legs!!!! (ouch!!):o

Had a flatmate through most of college who was a 1st dan in traditional ju-jitsu, but really took to Brazilian ju-jitsu (ground grappling) in a big way! Now he is over in Japan refining his technique in both areas and loving it. I must say - with the fact that ALL fights end up on the ground eventually...Brazilian ju-jitsu is where the fun really is!!!B|
