I got to see boobies today!!!

Recommended Posts

Well, kinda. Okay, so I'm sitting here at my desk, post whoring away, when a dude that graduated with me and his wife walk in, apparently applying for a loan. (I work at a bank for those of you who don't know). They sit down at the desk across from me, and what is there but a nice firm breast in my field of vision. At this point I'm thinking, "Hang on, I'm in a bank, WTF?!?!". She turns a bit, and I see the other one. That's right kids, she was breast feeding in the middle of the bank, with her shirt around her neck, sitting there like nothing was going on. How ^%@$% weird was that??????? :S

But hey, it gives ya something to joke about at work!! B|

I don't see why people should be so hung up on it. Personally, I think it's beautiful to watch a mother feed her little rug rovers. It has been done since we crawled out of the sea and became mammals, possibly before.:S
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

Yeah, well that's all fine and dandy until you imagine the scenario. Think about it, a bank, lots of people in business suits, looking all professional, and then this woman walks in with her stuff flopping about. ;) It's hilarious!!! B|

I was at Six Flags Over Mid America in St. Louis 3 weeks ago and while in line for one of the rides a lady was breast feeding her child. I didn't see it at first, my friends I was with said she was and when i looked her back was to me. I didn't believe them but sure enough she was. With hundreds of people around waiting in line, didn't expect to see that at an amusementpark.

This is a very weird topic. I'm pretty open & blunt myself, but I would somewhat cover myself; ya know? I mean, don't let it all flop out, that's just disrespectful to people around you. On the other hand.......sure it's beautiful and all, but not everyone wants to see it:P

That reminds me what happened years ago at a water games park here in NJ, we spotted this breasty chick behind us, after the ride, ALL the males on the ride were 'coincidentally' talking at the exit gate so we could spot the wet t-shirt and those gorgeous ta-tas...true story.

I think there is a time and place for stuff like that. Being in a bank getting a loan is hardly the time or place. That lady should have covered that ish up until she got back to the car.

Why? What harm did it do?

At renaissance faire, there is a special place for "nursing mothers"

For the most part, I don't see anything wrong with it, so long as you try to cover yourself with a blanket or something (without suffocating junior, of course).

Would be nice if more places provided nursing areas, though... if the kid's gotta eat, the kid's gotta eat. Being home at feeding time can't always be convenient.

You're right...there's a time and place for feeding a baby.

time: Whenever the baby is hungry
Place: Wherever you are at the time.

Would you have felt differently if she was bottlefeeding? If so...WHY? Baby was hungry...she fed her baby...so flippin' what.

I've nursed my babies everywhere and anywhere. I figure that my baby comes first...and if someone doesn't like it, they can look away.

Discretion is a different discussion...and if you want to disagree with the MANNER in which she was feeding her baby (with both breasts exposed, not discreet) then that is a discussion to be had. But as for feeding a baby in a bank....feh. She should feed her baby anywhere she is when her baby gets hungry. (if she hadn't fed her baby, you'd be somewhere complaining about people having screaming babies and how annoying that is!)

but now you're venturing into MY workplace territory...:P
I'm a doula...childbirth educator...student midwife...lactational assistant...

I do find it amusing that when I nursed my 14 month old at the dropzone two weeks ago...one of the jumpmasters (who did have the decency to look moderatly sheepish when talking about masturbating and 'playing with the tip' complete with manual visuals in front of me) noticed what I was doing and the reaction from him was absolutely hysterical. My husband was cracking up at him...eyes to the ceiling...stammering, "uh uh..we'll finish talking when you're, uh, done..." as he wanted off all but whistling.

Why do guys (especially young guys) get so freaked out about moms feeding babies???

Okay okay. I got your point. I don't think that a baby should have to wait to be fed. So, if the baby gets hungry then the mother has every right to breast feed her baby. I just think that it would be better if it was covered up with a blanket or something. Who knows? I'll probably do it anytime and anyplace when I become a mother.
I'm so funny I crack my head open!
