What happens if you don't get morning coffee?

Recommended Posts

Oh hell. Mt. Dew of for bringing you down off the coffee hill.....excellent transition drink and good for getting by on while you wait for the coffee to brew.

I've been tempted on many occasions to eat the beans straight.

And who ever figured out to grind those beans up and pour hot water over them is a damn genius as far as I'm concerned.

Be afraid.....be very afraid!

Damn this is the truth.

My caffine breakdown.
00 to 10 ounces - people die
11 to 30 ounces - people should avoid me or else
31 to 50 ounces - people may not like the reply
51 to 80 ounces - theres a hint of civility
80+ ounces - OK now the day can start in earnest.

This sounds like my brother-in-law who's a truck driver! He has a -constant- 32 oz mug of coffee in his hand at ALL times!

As for me...I can take it or leave it. Depends on how much sleep the night before...;) My work is great, though....free vats of coffee on tap 24/7. :)

when i do drink coffee i put so much creamer and sugar in it that it hardly qualifies as coffee. I'd rather just have some water or juice in teh morning most days, esp when it's warm out.

Now galen on the other hand.... it's definitely a major food group.

Migraine headaches, crankyness, violent dismemberment of coworkers' limbs, complaining, utilization of a flame thrower at work directed at coworkers (followed by violent puking with the resultant smell of charred flesh), loss of productivity, wierd sick things with a very sharp knife related to removal of co-worker's skin, oh and did I mention headaches?

OK, up here in Seattle, it's not wise to talk about not having your coffee. Here it's not just morning coffee, it's coffee all freaking day long.

De-caffinated is not the way to be in the Northwest

I'm with you, man. The Northwest doesn't run on electricity or gasoline. We run on caffeine. -What happens if I don't get mine? Remember in Evil Dead 2 or 3 when the woman in S-Mart turns into the witch? Oh yeah, evil cackle and all..."Ahhhh, I'll swallow your soul!!!"

-And I just love having a hot cup on my way to the DZ or on my way home. Caffeine and adrenaline are two chemicals that mix just right...;)

scary enough, i gave up drinking caffiene in February, except for caffiene found in alcoholic beverages. It was bad, i was drinking 3 20 oz bottles of mountain dew a day, to ZERO! Besides, people say I have too much energy anyway, I didn't need more every day:S

I have a 24 oz. minimum for morning.

I actually wanted to beat on my boss for a lengthly a.m.m meeting that I felt was soley his attempt to keep me from my COFFEE! :S(I actually believe it & it was a hazard=anger therapy 9 years[:/]).
My ex-wife worked at a fancey coffee place and I had 32 oz. esspresos(spell??). I'd go into clod sweats and have to change my shirt by noon every day.
now it's 24.oz and I'm a "Shiney Happy Person":)

Well, back when I was in the Marine Corps I was not a nice person to be around, especially when I was a Drill Instructor, recruits lived in FEAR of me! now, I've cut way back on the coffee, so so it's really nota factor anymore.
