StearmanR985 0 #8 December 8, 2003 Well hell, I had too many firsts this weekend!! Screw the ice chest, guess I better load the back of my truck with ice and brew next time I head out. Now for that USPA membership....Can't wait to meet some of you DZ.commers at YOUR home DZ's. I know, I need more jumps before I travel to other DZ's, I am working on it. jkm2500 0 #10 December 8, 2003 BEEEEEERRR!!! congrats on your graduation, and always blame a hard open on the packer.....they will say it was body position. The primary purpose of the Armed Forces is to prepare for and to prevail in combat should the need arise. KolibrieLinda 0 #11 December 8, 2003 Quoteyes you owe beer and yes we wanna see Couldn't agree more. But... wait a minute...this means I owe a lot of beer for my first ditchlanding. My first cowdungeon landing, etc etc. Poeh I've never paid up though! S**t you gave me a very big "I owe people". Ok my tip to you. Don't ask next time you have one of your firsts It'll cost you a lot of money especially in the beginning Edited to say: You do owe beer for your grad. Congratulations with it. Nightingale 0 #13 December 8, 2003 hehe... bruises suck. The rotten landing I had three weeks ago left a bruise in the PERFECT shape of the harness. You could completely see the outline of chest strap, leg straps, shoulder straps, back of the rig, everything! LOL. I guess doing two forward rolls and a faceplant pulls the rig in all kinds of strange directions! congrats on surviving your first (BEER!) hard opening! meltdown 0 #15 December 8, 2003 Hell yes you owe beer. Between me (26 jumps) and my wife (16 jumps), we can barely go to the DZ without owing beer for something. We have learned never to use the "F" word.
 noname 0 #16 December 8, 2003 "Well hell, I had too many firsts this weekend!! My reply, "So, what's your point hun?" Of all this, I have learned two valuable lessons: 1. Never ask if you owe. 2. Never say "FIRST". And that one doesn't count.
