What would you choose?

Recommended Posts

If you got a job where you could be based in any of the following places where would you go? I haven't spent much time out west, so any comments on the locations or their dropzones is appreciated.

Salt Lake City, Utah
Denver, Colorado
Portland, Oregon
Houston, Texas
Fresno, California
Palm Springs, California
San Diego, California
Monterey, California
San Luis Obispo, California
Sacramento, California
Santa Barbara , California

Salt Lake City, Utah - nothing to do after 8 pm, not easy to acquire alcohol

Fresno, California - again, not a lot to do.

Palm Springs, California - hot, lots of old people, a million golf courses.

San Diego, California - lots of fun. definitely consider. real close to three DZs, too

Monterey, California - I love monterey. Its a beautiful little seaside town.

Santa Barbara , California - very pretty city, again. kinda far from dropzones, though, I think.

The California Coast has by far the best weather.

Having lived in Perris, Elsinore and California, I have to admit that the weather in Palm Springs would be decent, maybe this white man just got tired of living in the desert.

I have never lived in any of the above, but I have serisouly never heard a bad thing said about San Diego. Aside from the fact that the cost-of-licing is a bit higher than some cities, but I am sure that your job would probably compensate for that.

Wonderful moderate temperatures all year
Large variety of things to do and see- Ocean, Mountains, Desert, Mexico. LA all within close reach
Near really good dropzones

If you really have a choice of all those cities, good for you!! What kind of job is it and do they have any openings ;) Good luck!!

San Diego is a really cool place BUT DAMN expensive. I think I would pick Houston. Great skydiving all year round. Cheap to live. Texas Women.....B|
