Amazon 7 #19 March 23, 2004 I used to live on my boat at a place called Sauvie Island on the Columbia River. Just a mile down the beach from the Marina was a clothing optional beach. ALL kinds of people came there.. Attractive and not so attractive to sunbathe sans clothing. Sometimes you heard comments about the less than attractive but if you are going to take the young tanned and toned crowd you will also get those who are not. PEOPLE come in all shapes and sizes and if you are going to accept the clothing optional life you have to accept all. There were many who came to the beach to gawk and would never disrobe. ITs not a sexual thing to most of the " natural" crowd but with the social mores of this country.. far too many equate nakedness with sexuality.
