When I first saw you at the pound 15 years ago you were a skinny, loudmouth little black cat, but I couldnt help but love you.

Every day you would meet me at the door when I came home and 'talk' to me about your day. I'll miss that.

When your kidneys started to fail you, I promised you that as long as you were living a good, pain-free life, I would stand by you. Well, we made it quite a while didnt we old girl?

Thank you for sharing your life with me and making my life richer in the process.

Your picture looks like the two cats that came to live with me ten years ago, Max (black) and Augie (white). Augie disappeared July 4, 1998 but Max is still with us and doing well.

So sorry for your loss.

I think there's something in my eye

Reminds me of my cat Scamper, same age, same colour, same size. He and I lost our friend Brimstone a couple of years ago the same way and it's still hard.

Hope Scamp stays with me a while. He keeps me going. He's all I got now.
