Had baby Derek, who is the best baby ever, only fusses for a boob and that is it. He is all smiles. I had a spinal headache after birth, which made me realize that epidurals are great but when they go bad (Ihad about 5 before one worked) they suck. I eneded up haveing two blood patchs that didn't work and so I had about 32 pin pricks in my back that Todd counted....Natural birth is much much better! only a few hours of pain vs a month. Any ways, we are still broke thanks to the three weeks of rain and so Todd couldn't work. He is finally back at work, but now Derek is having surgery on Thursday and so tomoorw we are off for Children's Hospital in San Diego and we wont be back until probably Monday. Derek has Craniosynstosis(sp?) basically he has no soft spots and the doctors are going to crack and reshape his skull to give it room to grow. If any one is in San Diego channel 10 asked to film it and do a story on it, I am not sure when it will air or anything. but I agreed because I figured if their were news reporters in the or filming they can't fuck it up. At the old dz, our message board on the website is even called "As the Prop Turns" and there was always a ton of drama. It kept us all on our toes, though!
