it's no where as big as it looks...look at the tip of the gerber holding it for perspective...

of course i saw an SFC scream like a little gril when ran at him across a shelf at eye level...

most all of my pictures are at home.. i'll post a few later perhaps

pic#1 I haven't seen anything that big, but I saw a scorpion in saudi.

pic#2 me and boat crew

Pic#3 in a different desert, thats ok because I included this one to show off my incredible power of camouflage. I know you can't see me but Im the one in the center of the pic that looks amazingly like a desert plant, still can't tell. ok, im the one with the captain morgan face camo.

i guess you've never actually seen one then.:P they arent that big.. the largest isnt much bigger than your palm and neither of the two in that picture (that has been plastered ALL over the internet for ages) is that big...

Take another look at the photo. Look at the spider in size of the soldiers shirt cuff. The spiders are a close up photo to make them look bigger. The ones in the photo are only about 4 inches in length. A large Camel Spider will only get about 6 inches in diameter from leg tip to leg tip.

I can say they do run pretty damb quick and can be aggressive if provoked.
