sharimcm 0 #1 September 7, 2005 I got my first tat on Friday, and I have to say, I have no clue why people say they are addictive. After sitting in agony for an hour letting someone permanently mark-up a various parts of your body doesn't seem too addictive to me. I have no inclination at this time to get another, but then again it's only been a few days. It's still sensitive and scabbing so it looks gross... Why?? Are they really that addicting? ladyskydiver 0 #4 September 7, 2005 I have 5 (although it looks like 4) and am planning 1 more. My original thought - get 1 tattoo. So, I'd say they are addictive. Hey...what did you get? Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.

I have over 25 tattoo's amd more for next week, but I never feel the urge to comment on why people DON'T have any.... Attached is one of my latest...the arm is "work in progress..." Skolls081102 0 #16 September 7, 2005 Thats really nice coloring on that- how long did that take? I have....well, I really dont know how many tattoos I have anymore- a bunch kind of blend together- and what used to be 5 seperate tattoos on my right arm, is now turning into a full sleeve (I guess I'll just count it as one). As far as tattoos being addictive? For me, yes they are- I always seem to get the "itch" for a new one. It may take a month, or a year, but I always find myself craving to go get inked. My last one was done about 2 months ago- and almost immediatley I wanted to get some more. Money reasons have kept me out of the shop, but I'll be getting one soon (fall bonuses are on the way!!!!!) The sole intention, is learning to fly.Condition grounded, but determined to try. Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies.Tongue tied and twisted, just an Earth bound misfit. skydog 2 #18 September 7, 2005 QuoteThats really nice coloring on that- how long did that take? Took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours. I am like you havin the whole arm turned into a sleeve. Just had the "gaps" filled with big cherry blossoms, which need colouring, and then smoky effect for all the rest of the gaps. Plan on having some Maori leg work done whilst back in NZ but havent made my mind up whether to go for traditional tattooing or machine.... BrynJourney not destination..... sharimcm 0 #21 September 7, 2005 I am a ladybug lover, so I had the artist draw a ladybug under canopy. I'll post pics when I get home. I'm in Phoenix at the moment, but flying home in just a few hours. I just don't see sitting through that much pain again... Especially the canopy! Oh, it's also on my lower back...
