NWFlyer 2 #2 October 12, 2005 QuoteNothing scary.... i get scared... Maybe she'll hold you. What are you in the mood for? Funny? Goofy? Classic? Dramatic? Chick flick? Biography? How about LA Confidential? I always like to watch that one."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke

flyinghonu 0 #5 October 12, 2005 DO NOT watch "Sahara" You will be SUPER pissed to have devoted 2 hrs. of your life to that crap. Liminey Snickets was really good but it's a little scary. "Excuse me while I kiss the sky..." - Jimi Hendrix

ifall 0 #17 October 13, 2005 Quote Agreed 100%!!! I still haven't seen A History of Violence, though... I hadn't heard of that one so I looked it up and it does sound VERY good. I'm going to keep an eye out for that one. I've seen Crash a few times now just because I like it so much. Sandra Bullock's role was totally polar of most her other roles. So what did you end up getting Kid Icarus?

crotalus01 0 #19 October 13, 2005 i think (hope) she meant David Cronenbergs Crash, a film about sex and car crashes. and an excellent film. also, A History Of Violence is very good, easily Cronenbergs most accessible film since The Dead Zone. thegreekone 0 #25 October 13, 2005 Just saw "Grosse Pointe Blank" again (haven't seen it in years) and was still really impressed. Story, music, performances, social criticism.....it's all there. BTW, Is John Cusack EVER less than stelllar? And Alan Arkin was a hoot. That whol;e bit about him being the shrink and having an anxiety attack about treating a hit man. great stuff.....
