Combos, is there a more perfect snack food?

Recommended Posts

I don't eat them very often, but by-god, when I do it has to be a full bag. Chedder Cheese Combos. Its the most perfect snack food. Then again, so are a lot of things, depending on your mood. I guess for me its anything with cheese or some sort of cheese type flavoring. A knife and a block of cheese will keep me happy for a couple of hours...:D

Whats your favorite snack food? Is it something that is a constant (eat it more then 3 times a week) or an occasional sin?

I'll eat an entire can of nuts (not THAT kind, ya pervs - peanuts/cashew/etc is what I mean) in an evening, no problem.

Love stuff like Fiddle-faddle, poppycock and the like, too....

I'm a huge fan of Nachos!

Either from 7-11, make your own chilli cheese nachos, make your own nachos at home, from a resturant.... doesn't matter.

MMMMMMMM Nachos!!!!!

Do you know the history of Nachos and what actually made Nachos nationally famous? Its actually a really interesting story if you haven't read about it before.

I love combos. Once after a vacation in Austin my friend & I were driving back to Chicago. We past through the town of Texarcana. Anyway, needing a snack we found a grocery store & stopped in hoping to find combos. FOUR (yes, 4) of the people working there had NEVER heard of them!! We described them & they were like "wow, why that sounds like a great snack!!"

Just had to share:|.

There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear.

I love Goldfish crackers, too. In fact, I bought a HUGE box of them at Sam's yesterday. Maybe it's me...but something's wrong. They don't taste quite right. It's like they're puffier and drier. I'm going to take some to the DZ this weekend and have folks do a taste test for me. ;)

Mmmmmm...Combos!

Salty & has cheese. Perfect!

When I was little I'd go through bags of them. I still get them once in a while---mostly I want them when we stop somewhere on a road trip. I always grab the Combos when looking for a good snack---either that or white cheddar popcorn:P
Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
