I am, with base283. Friends have invited us to join their table on the middle Sunday, but of course we have the luxury of going 'on spec' anytime during the fest!

Hey,
just enjoy and don't mess with the door-people at the tents.
If you go before 0600 pm you should be able to get into any of the tents (if it's not raining). Just don't leave it after 0800 as you might not be able to get in again.

I went a few years ago. All I can recommend is to not go on too many rides after lots of beer and schnaps. Have fun.

Make sure you get some rotisserie chicken. That's the best I have ever had. Stay away from those nasty looking "fish" sandwiches. Oh and if you want to steal a couple beer steins.........make sure you put them UNDER a jacket. The Polizei don't think it's funny.

Here's a few photos of two Euro-based BASE jumpers at Oktoberfest on 29 Sep 06. After only 6 hours of drinking we left the tent and immediately lost each other!

The guy on DSC04782 looks really, really drunk...The bad part is that this picture was taken around 4:00pm...

But it was fun anyways!
